Little Disappointing!!

New Balance Women's FuelCell Rebel v5 (7 Wide) I have always had a great experience with New Balance running shoes and they have been my go to for a couple of reasons, the great fit, the design and the availability in wide and extra wide. I really wanted to like this new design but here's where they failed for me. The heel is very curved in comparison to any other New Balance or other running shoes that I have ever owned. Most people hit the ground with their heels first and when you are walking in these, it feels like you're rolling backwards. May keep them but I haven't fully decided yet, but will I purchase them again ... definitely NOT!! Now I know what to watch out for and stay away from with New Balance designs. I am going to try and attach pics for comparison purposes. Big fail for the design team. If this product was actually tested with people using them, this oversight should've been spotted.

They Hurt My Feet/material Quality Looks Cheap

These hurt the tops of my feet anre uncomfortable and I seem to have gotten an injury from walking in them. They have no traction on the bottom and the tops are made of extremely thin cloth. Considering how expensive they are. They should have been great for my feet and felt like a cloud. First and last time ever buying this brand.

A Huge Improvement On The V4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great step forward for the rebel! Up until this point, I'd really only loved the V2s and had kind of been mourning their loss. The V4s were snappy, but felt a little flimsy and didn't have great traction. These are fantastic, and good for an uptempo effort as well as easy days. The traction is much better, and the cushion from the foam is more prominent than the last model. Felt a little stiff on the first run, but broke in easily and are a great companion to the 1080s in my rotation.
