Bulky Calves?

I got these for my 9 yr old. She's an athletic powerhouse. I know, she's 9, but you should see her! I'm not a crazy screaming dad on the sidelines, so I'll voice it all here; we're in the trust tree, right?. I bought these for her. Like her mom, she loves her athleisure, but they're on the to-do list to return. The ankle elastic is just too tight! I never imagined this would be an issue. Now, also like her mother, she has some distinguished calves. Meaty and muscular; we're not talking any elephant-type stuff. Maybe this tight elastic feature is supposed to highlight a good ankle game -that's still a fashion thing? But, it seems to be overdone. I'm confident this elastic would be useful on a trailer hitch or on my next bungee jump; however, I think Nike went a bit too far on this one.

Waist Doesn’t Correspond With Length

My daughter loves her Nike pro gear. She bought these pants in a size L, but they were too short. We exchanged them for a size XL. The length is good, but the waist is bizarrely big. She’s keeping them, but it’s not ideal. She has other Nike pro gear in L and XL, so we know the waist of these pants is not what it should be.

My 11 year old daughter LOVES these joggers! She has 3 pair of the same ones now. We saw these minty/green/teal ones on sale ans she HAD to have them! They have held up well for the season of tough, outdoor play, and sports. We would definitely buy them again if they are on sale. Probably wouldn't at the high regular price, u less a gift.
