I bought this for my daughter a month ago for softball. She has a hard time with shorts and pants fitting because she has skinny legs but these fit perfect and do not shift around. She is 11 and I ordered a youth medium. She normally wears a size 12 in pants.

Made Well, But Not As Padded As I Was Expecting.
My 10u daughter outgrew her sliding shorts from another brand, so we decided to try Nike this time. The material seems high quality and the fit is good, but instead of having a small layer of foam padding like some others down the side, these seem to have several layers of material diagonally from the hip toward the rear. We haven't played a game in them yet, so we'll see how well they work, but my daughter loves the fit and feel so far.
