TOO BIG & awkward! Lots of reviews say this runs small but we had the opposite experience. My daughter is on the slimmer side but wears a large in almost all jackets/hoodies. She’s 12 yo, 4’11, 90 lbs & athletic build. I double checked with the size chart. But she was swimming in this. Bottom of it is super wide, there’s no cinch or silhouette to it that brings the bottom of the jacket in against the body. So from the ribs down it just sticks out awkwardly. This will also allow the cold in. Sleeves are also very wide. Being a girls jacket I thought it would have a little bit of feminine shape to it like in the pictures but it doesn’t. It’s very big & awkward. She has other similar jackets that fit much better. It was really upsetting because this is the gift she was most exciting for from Christmas. It could be because she’s on the slimmer side so beware if your daughter is same body type as mine. It’s just not fitted enough for them. It actually fit ME really good. Exactly how she wants it to fit her! I’m 4,11 & 130 lbs. I’m a petite woman but body shape no where near a 12/13 year old. Going to exchange it for a medium for her but with the excessive bagginess I have a feeling the fit still might be awkward, Overall, maybe not the best jacket for slim girls, at least size down if they are slimmer or in between sizes.
