Rated 1 out of 5 by from Size is not comparable to other cleats My son was wearing comfortably 9 1/2 in Mercurial high top for past 6 months. I've just got the same size HYPERVENOM last week and he was wearing during the practice and could run with it cause it is so big on him. Went to Nike store yesterday and got a 9 but it is still too big. When he wears it during the game, he could not even control the ball since it didn't fit right. Nike should make all the cleats sizes comparable and same regardless of different type. Size 9 of the HYPERVENOM is bigger than size 9 1/2 Mercurial, now I'm not even sure what size I should get for him.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive This boot exceeded my expectations. The comfort level was top-notch and the fit was very good. I cannot say the fit is good yet as its still in the break-in process and with my slightly wide feet, it is still adjusting to my foot. Thus far, the touch is sublime - the upper wraps the foot well, giving a dampened touch on the ball. Great lockdown and lateral movements. There is slight discomfort in the heel but this might subside with time. This color way is flawless and I believe NIke should continue releasing similar, less flashy soccer boots. Rated 4 out of 5 by from give it a chance the comfort is good on these. the description of these boots is on point. I had to return them though because the collar area on the outside of my ankle it kept jabbing me and it hurts while wearing them. after I took them off I still felt the aftermath of the jabbing on my ankle but overall nothing to complain about

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Give it a chance. The Hypervenom Phamtom 3 is a very interesting cleat. I've only had the cleats for a few days now but have worn them for several hours. At first the back swade was rubbing my Achilles' tendon and was not pleasant, but for the rest of the day I softened it up with my hands and by the next day I had zero problems with it. Magic. As for fit, I love the way the mid foot hugs your foot with the flywire. The toe box though, was a bit roomy which is of a preference thing but I think I'm liking it. The traction was an interesting thing, obviously have 3 different stud configurations I didn't feel a huge difference than a normal conical stud formation. But when it comes to performance it's second to none, the texture on the upper is crazy for dribbling and curling the ball. What took it home was the foam-like pods on the striking zone, if you tried to feel them ny shooting you immediately feel them. I tapped the ball and I went a crazy distance for the power I put in. I literally dropped a ball at waist height on a flat foot like a pancake and it was dead. Overall if you have the money, get these boots they are great after you get past some annoying but bearable break in issues.
