[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This waterproof jacket for kids is great! We finally got some rain, so my son was able to test it out, and it performed very well. The material truly repels water while still feeling breathable. I also like the design details. The mesh lining and vented back help with airflow and keep heat from building up, even when he's running around. The elastic cuffs do a good job of keeping rain out, and the zipper chin guard is a nice feature, my son usually complains when zippers rub against his chin. Another big plus is how lightweight it is. He can easily stuff it into his backpack without it taking up so much space, making it perfect for school, sports, or travel. My only small complaint is the hood. After a lot of running and jumping, it tends to slip back and come off a bit. Aside from that, this jacket is a solid choice for wet weather.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Windrunner for big kids is great for the littles! I own a few of these jackets myself and for the first time my kid has one. The fit is true to size, the nylon is light weight, and is overall very breathable. My 9 year old has not taken this jacket off since she got and now wants multiple colors just like her daddy. This design is timeless and is executed in adult and kid sizes alike!

It’s great to cover up and to also use as a raincoat!! I also love that this windbreaker type doesn’t stick to my skin when I sweat, there’s almost an airy feel that makes it super comfy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built for the 4-year-old engaging the world fully, it is vital that outerwear for this group to function as a frictionless "system." This breathable, 3-season shell has instantly become out little one's wearable playground-armor. He naturally gravitates toward the monochromatic black color of the jacket to coordinate with his (VERY simple) wardrobe, and he utilizes the multiple pockets effectively for his abundant collection of outdoor treasures through his discoveries. While the silhouette is heavily exaggerated for his frame, he calls it his "shield" and knows he'll effectively stay guarded from the elements regardless of what comes our way. One Consideration: The volume runs relatively large for his age group and heavily leans pure sportswear aesthetic. Even still, this one is undeniably his favorite daily grab-and-go artifact.

My 5 year old wears it all the time from soccer practice/games to going on walks or to the park, even to school. With its sporty look leggings or even biker shorts go well with it. It’s comfortable and I really hope more colors are coming! Would I recommend this windbreaker to another mom? Absolutely, worth every penny. It’s a great addition to any kids closet boy or girl. In my opinion this windbreaker is true to size.

Used the size guide to measure my average sized 13 year old and ordered L. It was far too short in the sleeves and quite short in the body length so returned. Now waiting for XL to arrive. The fabric was thicker than I expected and is probably a decent coat if it fits.

It’s simple, had a clean design, and the mesh lining keeps it breathable. The zippered pockets are a nice bonus too. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been wearing the Nike Windrunner Girls’ Windbreaker for her safety patrol duties this spring and it has been a total winner. As someone standing outside in unpredictable weather, she needed something that could handle light wind and occasional misting without weighing her down. What she loves most: It’s incredibly lightweight, so she barely notices she’s wearing it, which is a big deal for an active kid on the move. The breathable fabric means she’s not overheating when the sun pops back out between clouds. Bonus she can throw in her backpack after school when it’s warmer. The wrist scrunching is a standout feature because the elastic keeps the cuffs snugly in place so the sleeves stay put no matter what she’s doing. No bunching, no sliding just a secure, comfortable fit from morning to dismissal. For spring weather duty think breezy mornings, light drizzle, that “is it going to rain or not?” kind of day and this jacket hits the sweet spot. It’s not a rain jacket, but it handles light misting like a champ and blocks the wind beautifully. If your kid is active outdoors in spring weather (whether it’s safety patrol, recess, or sports) the Nike Windrunner is a smart, comfortable choice. My daughter gives it two enthusiastic thumbs up, and so do I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome jacket. All black and super light in weight. Very versatile jacket, as it can be used for many occasions. My daughter typically wears this for school. The black neutral color matches with everything. The materials seem very thin, but hopefully durable. If taken care of, I can see it lasting. However, kids are rough, especially as school, so there is some wear and tear shown. The classic Windrunner in all black with a V shape design is great. Looks similar to the old tech fleece design. My daughter loves it. If your child is careful and takes care of their clothes, I would highly suggest this. Can be worn casually or even to go jogging in, as intended. If your child comes home with dirty and torn clothes, I would think twice, as this isn't a cheap item. Item fits true to size. The hood also is stylish, while provide some protection from the wind or rain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fabric is water resistant and easy to clean which makes maintenance easy. It’s a perfect rain coat for children while they play outside. The sleeves are longer then I’d like them to be especially for a children’s jacket but I did get the wrong size so take that into consideration. They jacket has good insulation in the inside of it that kept my daughter warm. Overall great coat. My youngest loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I'm a small adult, yet not an adult Small. This jacket fit perfectly. The sleeves actually fit. I don't have to roll them up or constantly pull my hands out of them. It's glorious. Sometimes, kids jackets look like just that... a kids jacket. Even with elastic sleeves and waist, this does not look like a kids jacket. The embroidered nike logo was a nice touch too, not printed on like an earlier version I have of a similar jacket. The inside is light, but has a smooth/warm lining. While the arm pits aren't vented, it never gets too hot. I'd imagine a good soaking in this jacket would test its water repellent exterior, but great for a quick run inside during a shower. There are two pockets for hands and they have zipper closures. The jacket's zipper is a nice size and doesn't get hung up. Awesome fit. Awesome comfort. All around awesome jacket.

It fits true to size and is made of 100% polyester. Its plain, straightforward design makes a good fashion statement without being flashy. I like that it keeps me dry in rain or during workouts. I wouldn’t change anything about it.

It’s weather resistant for rainy days but also gives her an added layer of warmth. It’s light enough to wear for sports with still allowing her to have some protection from the rain. It runs true to size, I would peak ally go up one to be able to layer it more.

Seemingly durable as elbows did not rip when falling on them. Graphic is a nice touch. Solid jacket, I recommend :)
