[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, these shoes make a statement. They’re bold, bulky, and definitely loud. Not in an obnoxious way, but in a "bold and in your face loud style" that kids love. The chunky design is classic Air Max arena withexaggerated midsole, oversized air unit, and plenty of layering and contrast. If your kid likes being noticed, this shoe delivers. As a dad, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first, thinking they might be too much. But once I saw them on my kid's feet, paired with a pair of joggers or shorts, it just worked. Nike knows what kids want to wear even when they don’t know how to say it yet.
