Received box in the mail and the shoes were crush and beginning to crease I was pretty upset and was going to send them back but I wore them for a day and it got so much better. That I’m going to keep them. I don’t think they would do well with very active kids because of the vinyl on top, feels a little cheap. The nylon shoes string are horrible and cheap. I love the Cortez line of shoes they have always been a favorite since my first pair as a child. Unfortunately these just hit below the mark for me. However, the hearts are such a cute design and the red shoe is a perfect color of red.
