[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the Nike Jr. Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro Little/Big Kids' FG Low-Top Soccer Cleats and was extremely impressed. The fit and feel were fantastic; they felt good right out of the box with no break-in time required. They're so comfortable that I think they might become my primary cleats. The design is both stylish and modern, giving them a sleek and fast look on the field. I was also pleased with the lightweight and flexible fabric, which provided a great touch on the ball while feeling durable enough to last. My favorite part was the overall comfort and quick break-in, but if I had to change one thing, I'd love to see a wider range of colors available to choose from.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Jr. Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro FG low-top (whew, that's a long name) is a great soccer cleat for our active household of players. This shoe is lightweight and flexible, with plastic blades on the sole. The style is sleek with a classic Nike look featuring the prominent swoosh, which my child likes. Ours are neutral black with an ice blue- almost white contrast color, and will work with most uniform colors thankfully as we might be reusing these in the future. Another reason for possibly handing these down to a sibling is that unfortunately these ran small for us, so we may need to replace them mid season depending on growth. I'd say they were at least a half size smaller (fitting) than we expected, so check out the size chart and maybe try them on in the store if you can. As previously mentioned, these are lightweight- definitely the lightest cleats of any kind that our active family has ever owned. This helps my child feel like they are sprinting and turning faster, since the weight of the cleats aren't holding them back. Another huge bonus for us is the flexible Flyknit upper material, which I believe is synthetic. My child is able to slip them on and off without redoing the laces each time due to this material, which they love. Overall, we are fans of this pair and will definitely enjoy wearing them on the field!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is playing team soccer for the first time, and he is very happy with these cleats. He says they fit well (we got his regular size), and he does not have trouble taking them off or putting them on. He often struggles with discomfort in new shoes, and he had no complaints with these. He is able to get them tight enough to be comfortable. He loves the way they look and reports that he can run fast and also feels grounded when making quick movements as he plays. He has worn cleats for other sports in the past, and this is the first pair of any kind of cleat that he puts on without complaint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These soccer cleats have a sleek design and feel well-made - I think they would hold up well. However, the fit is a major drawback - they run very narrow and small. I even sized up for my son, but they were still difficult to get on and his toes were almost at the top of the cleat. The fabric and construction feel sturdy, but the lack of a tongue makes them really hard to slip on and leaves little room if you have a high instep. My son and I liked the look, but I would change the sizing and add more flexibility in the fit to make them easier to wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great soccer cleats, but tough for a kid without a lot of independence and a wide foot. They have sort of a “sock” that is thick elastic - not neoprene- which is great for avoiding turf seeds but doesn’t allow for you to stretch the narrow shoe to get a wide foot in. Shoe is thick and well made, good sole with stabilizing cleats on bottom. Soccer cleats tend to be narrow so for a kid without wide feet who needs to use the laces loosened and tongue up to jam his foot in this is really hard to get on… but once it’s on, it’s on and it’s very much an extension of his foot. Classic Black. 8 was very excited to wear them.
