Really Nice Boot And Recommend

The boot was really nice and had a wide fit. It is true to your shoe size which is always nice. Anyways, the boot performs well on the pitch and is one of my favourite purchases in these last few years.

Would Not Recommend

I reluctantly paid this price but justified it because of the amount of football / soccer my daughter plays. I wouldn’t recommend these at a third of the price! They are so difficult to get on and she does not find them comfortable. The poor thing insists on wearing them because she knows how expensive they were but I have had to give in to get her another pair. Complete waste of money! Will not be buying Nike boots for any of my kids again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Immediately out of the box you can see that these cleats are high quality. They appear well constructed and the stitching is without defect. The design is sleek, minimal, and attractive with a single swoosh on the top, an “M” and smaller swoosh on the inner part of the shoe, and a colored plate of cleats on the bottom. The cleats feel light but durable. The fabric was smooth on the exterior and the inner fabric is soft. My only concern is that the swoosh does seem like it could begin to peel over time as it feels more like a decal than a permanent part of the shoe. If I could change anything, it would be the fit. These cleats ran narrow and smaller than other cleats of the same size from different brands, though knowing that I would likely size up in the future. I really liked that the cleats had a cushion at the top of the heel, it made the shoe more comfortable, especially in the breaking in phase.

She normally wears a size 4 in sneakers, size 4.5Y in these clears fits her perfectly. The sleek design looks great, and the fabric along the laces, around the ankles and heel adds noticeable comfort. They were a little snug to get on at first, but once she got used to them, she really liked the stretch and secure fit around the ankle. The very first thing she said after her first time wearing them to practice was how comfortable they are—the extra cushion in the heel is definitely a standout feature. One note: the laces can be a bit tricky to tighten. Her only “complaint” is that she wishes I had gone with one of the brighter color options. Worth It Once Broken In

No tongue and snug right above the ankle, so getting them on took some wiggling and a bit of “soccer cleat wrestling” before practice. The style is minimalist and sleek, and the fabric/materials feel really high quality and super durable. The cleats themselves are very well designed—my daughter says running, stopping, and turning all feel really secure. After a few days they loosened up, and now she says they’re super comfy and loves playing in them. If you can get through that short break-in period, they’re a total win. My overall favorite thing about them is the design and quality. If I could change one thing, I’d add a little more elasticity to the opening to make them easier to get on and off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened the shoebox, my 10 year old son was so excited to wear the Nike Jr. Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro Little/Big Kids' FG Low-Top Soccer Cleats. He thinks they look cool (dare I say it's fire?) and really likes the color and minimalistic design (main color black with Nike swoosh and accents in a cornflower blue). The cleats fit pretty well (true to size), but my son had some difficulty getting them on/off since the knit material is more snug than past cleats and the laces are not easily loosened either and a bit short.  I don't have to worry about him accidentally losing a shoe mid-game! I would not recommend for kids with wider feet as they do seem narrow. Overall, they were comfortable from first wear (no blisters!) and very light weight. The shoes seem very durable with high quality materials and I appreciate that it is also made with recycled content.  As for performance, my son felt he could change directions quickly and was comfortable sprinting and handling the ball.  These cleats are stylish, comfortable, and I have no doubt these will improve my son's performance on the field this fall. We give these more of a 4.5 star than a 4 star.

The exterior has a plastic type coating which is great for waterproofing. Not sure about breathability yet. I love the color combo, looks sporty and sleek. My son is happy with these!
