My little man (5yr) loves them. They make him look cool, and run faster. Overall, they still look as good as when I had a pair myself as a teenager.

Kid Dress Up Sneaker

These are kind of a dress up shoe for our 6 year old, when black shoes might be appropriate. They run small, so got them a size larger.

Oversized Shorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fit and Feel: The label says that these shorts are loose fitting. Indeed these shorts not only fit loose but were too big in the waist for my 6 year old and also wayyy too long. Design: All black, Nike logo hard to see, stretch band at the waist that wasn’t customizable enough. Fabric: This fabric reminded me of the Carhart style work clothing material. It was stiff, rugged feeling. It doesn’t happen very often but neither my kiddo, nor I liked this short. I’d never buy it and I don’t see myself ever recommending this kind of short either.

The Elastic Is Very Tight

The shoes fit well and are very cute. What I don't like is that the elastic is very hard and tight. To put them on my son, I have to put on very thin socks so that the top of his foot doesn't squeeze and so that his foot can fit better into the shoe.

A Classic For A Reason

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cortez's are a classic and I was happy to introduce my 5 year old to a timeless silhouette. The quality and fit are great and the color goes with everything, it's a soft leather that looks durable but comfortable, my favorite feature is that they look like they are tieable but are in fact velcro. My only complaint is that his heel slipped out at first but a thicker sock put an end to that. All in all these are great and I definitely recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is extremely happy when wearing this pair. She loves to be independent and slip them on by herself and just go. She wore these while riding her bike to going to her hip-hop dance class and not once felt uncomfortable. As all kids her age they wish it could light up but she doesn't worry about that once they are on. I noticed that she is not complaining about her feet hurting like she does with other pairs that she owns. They are little big on her but with thicker socks that covers the space left and she will grow well into the shoe. The leather and materials feel like that will last a long time and will be easy to clean.

Better Than The Old Ones

However, my daughter still complained about them being to tight on the top of her foot. After she broke them in no complaints. The black color way holds up nice and cleans off easily.

He is always obsessed with any of my Nike shoes for some reason, always pointing at them or touching them and now he has his own pair! They pair well with so many different clothing styles. They also have good grip on the bottom, which is great for an always on the go toddler. I would highly recommend these. I'm actually considering buying this style for myself as well. Mostly just to match my sweet nephew, but also because I love the look so much! :)

Retro For The Kiddo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Kids Cortez easyon is such a great shoe! My daughter is pretty rough on her sneakers in general and these have geld up pretty well. With her feet being a little on the wider side we were concerned these would be too narrow for her but thankfully, this is not the case. She has been able to slip these on and go. As a kiddo that is new at tying her shoes, she was excited that she did not have to waste any time since these have a strap. These have easily become her favorite shoes to use and she has even asked for them in more colors! The only complaint my daughter had was the heel slippage. She noticed this the first time wearing them, making her rounds on the playground but said she didn’t have any problems after a few more wears. This classic model is very fashionable and looks like it’s going to be a shoe she will grow up with. We are very thankful for the opportunity to test and review, thank you Nike!

Bringing Back Classic Shoes With Updated Technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been wearing these EasyOn Cortez shoes for the past 10 days or so. These are her everyday staples for school, gymnastics, and tennis. She loves them, but are they truly EasyOn, for a 4 year old?? I personally love the fact that a classic silhouette, such as the Cortez, is being updated with modern EasyOn technology. I think it is so cool seeing my daughter wearing a shoe model that I have loved for years; seeing her love them is incredibly fulfilling! If I could change one thing about the shoe, the pre-laced laces are tight and not the easiest for my 4 year old to get on by herself. I know that the laces have to be somewhat tight since they do not actually tie and un-tie like traditional shoes, but the name EasyOn is a tad deceiving since they are not, you know, easy to get on. That is really a small criticism though compared to the use my girl is getting out of the shoes. She runs, does cartwheels, skips, and bounces around in these shoes and they are currently her favorite pair. I hope this technology will be adapted to more classic silhouettes. If there was a way for the lace-flap at the top of the shoe to allow more slack to be released and make them a little more ‘easy on’ then they would be, in my mind, the perfect shoe for active kids.

Classic Style

The shoes are lightweight and have a velcro opening disguised with laces. This makes it super easy for him to slip them on by himself, while staying on as he jumps and runs. I got the black pair which make it easy to match with different outfits. Definitely recommend!

Cortez Easyon Little Kids Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Nike Cortez Easyon Little Kids' shoes. The black and white 90s design make them very easy to dress up or down. Keeping these shoes clean will be breeze with the ability to just wipe the leather down. In addition, the shoes are very easy to slide on and go. The only complaint I have is that the shoes are very narrow and are not for a kid with wide feet. Overall, the Nike Cortez Easyon Kids shoes are very nice shoes that kids and parents would love with any outfit whether casual or semi formal.

Comfortable, Easy To Wear

We can dress them up with nicer clothes, but they are still comfortable and easy to wear for running around the neighborhood. The easy-on/easy-off system works really well and allows for them to put on or off by themselves.
