My 10-year-old with smaller feet loved these in all white. Although she was resistant to the Velcro closure at first since she thought it looked immature, she loves the easy on and off now and likes that it's not a typical rectangular Velcro strap that would be more obvious. She wears a 3.5 in Nike Pegasus (prefers larger fit for running shoes), but she liked the 2.5 in the AF1. We had an issue with lining of a defective pair, but Dick's exchanged for a new pair without a problem. We haven't had the same problem with the second pair.
