I’ve been buying Nikes for my kids for years. It’s the first time I’ve ever ran into this problem. This issue is almost impossible to get on within a week of getting them on with a struggle. The backs broke down. I was hoping once it stretched out it’d be easier to get on it wasn’t we ended up cutting the shoelaces to be able to get the shoe . Do not recommend death for Young ones.

My son chose these because they looked cool. They are very hard to get on and I have to help him every time. The straps attach on the opposite side of the shoe that they should so when he walks they are rubbing and come undone.

Wasted $$. Bought this 2 months ago for 8yr old. he played 1 game with them and never wore again. Let his bro. try too and he doesnt like. The rubber velcro is annoying/heavy and rubs against the other foot (velcro goes inward instead of out).

Nicely built shoe, with exception of two things. First sizing is wildly inconsistent when comparing to other Nike shoes. See photo of two Nike pairs side by side - A full size smaller than the others I bought for my kids and they still a too big. The length is still about 1/2” too long, but they were tight to get into. My child normally wears a 1.5-2 in shoes. Had to get a 1 in these. So they are both too big (length) and too small on elasticity to the tongue. Next, this shoe is extremely rigid and built more like an old school style basketball shoe. We will give them a shot, but they may be too clunky for a little kid to wear. There’s not much radius to the back heel which makes my kiddo run with a stomp and slow him down. I would return them, but he wants to try to get used to them. The sole is very rigid and only flexes at a single bottom reveal they designed in. Overall quality of the shoe seems fine.

Great for my grandson who asked for a Nike basketball shoe. Thinking he could use the shoe adequately during his tennis lessons he has started.

Great support. My boy has weak ankles and they keep him pretty supported.

I purchased these shoes because of the high ratings, but they were extremely disappointing. The velcro is weak, and my son had to constantly readjust it during his basketball game. Since the velcro opens on the inside of the shoe, his other foot kept catching it and undoing it. Poor design and a waste of money. I do not recommend this shoe.

My sons uses them for basketball. They are a nice red color and he loves wearing them. Comfortable too.
Bought for my boy red ones. Complains about the shoe hurting where the strap crosses the foot. He gets red marks. The shoe fits but they hurt him. The strap rubs down on the top of foot causing irritation.
