Inclusivity

I Love Nike shoes and products, however I am part of the "petite" or small person community and have been very saddened by the shift to "Velcro" style closures being put on preschool sized shoes, while I understand the rationale that these are made with children in mind, I am an adult who fits a size 2Y shoe and have had to stop purchasing a lot of your products as id prefer to have some laces to tie and feel silly wearing Velcro laced shoes in public. I hope this is taken into consideration since it could impact sales/limit patronage. I also understand the Velcro is a feature that may be inclusive of those with limited mobility so I do not expect it to be fully removed, however, having the option to choose the closure type would be amazing and truly inclusive of various communities.

My daughter loved these for a week, but the Velcro did not allow for a snug fit. It’s too small of a strip to tighten the shoe. Sadly, she doesn’t want to wear them

Do Not Recommend

Had 2 pairs ordered for my child. First pair the soles started peeling off after only 3 wears. Exchanged and thought maybe There were defective. Second pair lasted 2 months before they started falling apart. Never had any issues with shoes coming apart like that.

I brought these for my 7yr old and she absolutely loves them. She put them on and didn’t wanna take them off. She’s very picky with her footwear and I was surprised she didn’t wanna take them off. Great fit and I would imagine they’re very comfortable. Only other shoe I’ve seen her do that in is uggs.
