Disappointing Durability, Do Not Buy!!
I bought a pair of Nike Phantom soccer cleats for my 8-year-old, and they are already falling apart after only 5 games. The material is separating and they clearly are not holding up to normal use at all. What’s even more frustrating is this isn’t the first time we’ve had this issue. We previously bought Nike phantom indoor soccer shoes, and those didn’t even last a full 10-game season before breaking down. For a brand like Nike and a product sold through Dick’s Sporting Goods, I expected much better quality—especially for youth gear. My son is only 8 years old, so this isn’t from excessive wear and tear, just regular play. Overall, very disappointed. I would not recommend these cleats if you’re expecting them to last even a single season.
