they were very comfortable and had great ankle support but the eyelets started to rip after a two day tournament and one practice. i would say if you are getting them for just everyday wear they would be fine but if you like to tie your shoes tight they are going to rip at the eyelets. they also run about a .5-1 size small

Runs Small
Purchased for my daughter for volleyball/basketball overall she likes them and they are comfortable, but they do run small. Bought her a half size up from her current size as other reviews said they ran a half size small, but we ended up having to go up a full size.
