I bought these Nike sneakers because my son absolutely loved the look and I agree, they do look really sleek and stylish. The black design with the subtle gold accents definitely stand out visually. The stitching around the upper and lace areas already appears loose and slightly frayed right out of the box. Some edges don’t look cleanly finished, which concerns me about how well these will hold up with regular wear. Not the Nike craftsmanship and durability I was expecting. I’m returning them despite how much my son likes the style, it’s just sad coz he’s excited to wear them.

Ouch!

I’ve owned probably 100 pairs of Nikes over the years. These are awful. Only shoe I’ve ever had significant foot pain with. They just never wanted to break in. Incredibly stiff and tight/narrow. Do not recommend these. Such a bummer, cause I love the style and ankle support.
