I have not worn yet, skeptical about how they look on the front of the shoe. Considering return but do not know policy. Hector

Good, But Fits Small. Go Half Size Up

Recent ACG Zegama, Zegama Hike & Pegasus have a roomy toebox. Fab. These don't. Wrecks an otherwise great shoe.

I Always Come Back To These

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who hikes often, I always find myself coming back to the Pegasus Trail runners. Personally, I believe these are one of the best shoes you can get because you get comfortable, lightweight, and rugged sneakers (THAT DONT MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A GRANDPA… sorry grandpa). These have really been put through the test and have proved themselves. These have been my main shoes for hiking in more rugged conditions but I find myself leaving these home on more easy and hot hikes (due to GORE TEX). Since these are waterproof they will keep moisture out of your shoe but trap the moisture from sweat in your shoes. That’s why I always suggest having 2 different types of hiking shoes. Some that vent well, and some that’ll keep your feet dry from the rain or small water crossings. I have found that these don’t last very long due to frequent use (they begin to separate at the midsole to the uppers). With that said I still find myself coming back to these each time because of how good they are.

Like Walking On Grippy Clouds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mean, come on…These shoes are wildly comfortable! Although they are a bit chunky looking, the Acg Pegasus Trail Gtx shoes have amazing support, the foot bed makes it feel like you are running on a cloud, and they feel snug but lightweight. They fit as expected for my size, and just feel great. The thickness of the shoe does give it a sturdy and well-built feeling like you know that the shoe will last and that they can take a beating off-road. I particularly like the sock like elastic backing that stops small stones or dust from getting kicked up into the back of the shoe. The elasticity of the back sock portion with the double sized pull tab to get on the shoe are really nice and convenient features that I haven’t had in another shoe, and I am into them I a strong way. The treads are also fantastically grippy; I feel like I could run up a boulder sideways like Spider-Man. Not crazy about the black on black design, but I suppose there are people who are into that look and also design-wise, the heal feels a bit too thick looking, but it does perform well. But regardless of what they look like, I will wear these again and again; from trail running to hikes, these shoes feel like they are versatile enough to go from the forest to rocky terrain, and even on a water hike. My foot felt like it was pushed toward the front of the shoe, it felt somewhat back heavy, but not necessarily in a bad way.

A Trail Running Shoe That Checks All The Boxes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in the Montana mountains, trail running and hiking are integral parts of my life. I’m always on the lookout for the most comfortable and durable all-around mountain recreation shoe. The Nike Acg Pegasus Trail sneaker strikes a great balance between comfort and stability. The shoe is designed with extra cushioning, which is evident when running on the rocky mountain terrain. While some cushioned sneakers can compromise stability, I found that these shoes maintained a good balance. I put them to the test over the weekend with a 10-mile hike and they performed exceptionally well. Even during a hail and rain storm that turned the trail into a muddy, slippery mess, the shoes felt stable and responsive with good traction. However, they did get a bit wet, so they’re not entirely waterproof. I particularly love the wider toe box in these sneakers, especially when running downhill. It prevents my toes from getting jammed against the front of the shoe, which is a significant improvement over my previous running sneaker. If you’re in search of a reliable trail running or hiking shoe, these shoes are a great choice.

Awesome Trail Running Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest issue that I encounter with trail running shoes is you either get grip or comfort. Can never choose to have both. But this shoe is where things change and elevate. Gently broke these in with casual runs around the neighborhood leading up to my big run. These shoes performed amazing during the harsh terrain running the Spartan Super. Obstacle after obstacle, uphill, downhill, even when wet these shoes continued to impress me. They never let me down and I plan to continue running in them. I’m not sure why it took me so long to give these a try but I don’t plan to look back after a couple amazing weeks with them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these! Great running shoe for all weather conditions, feels like it can handle road miles and any type of weather condition, waterproof keeps feet dry and surprisingly very lightweight and flexible for a trail runner

Trail Running

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a longtime Pegasus fan, I couldn't wait to try the ACG GTX trail version — and it did not disappoint! These shoes have become a fantastic addition to my collection, perfect for trail days when there's a good chance of splashing through a stream or two. The Gore-Tex lining keeps my feet dry and comfortable while still letting them breathe, so I can already tell these will be my go-to pick once winter brings wetter conditions. The traction on the soles is super grippy, handling sandy and leafy sections of trail with ease. I also love the gaiter around the ankle, which does a great job keeping rocks and debris out. One small note: these run slightly smaller than the traditional Pegasus, likely due to the Gore-Tex lining, so I'd recommend sizing up. That said, it's a minor tradeoff for a shoe this reliable — if you're looking for a trail companion that can handle wet, messy conditions without missing a beat, the ACG GTX is well worth adding to your rotation.

Not My Favorite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit of this shoe is very average. I would neither consider these comfortable nor uncomfortable. Walking around and running errands is just fine, but I expected more comfort than that of a casual shoe. I wouldn’t recommend exercising in these shoes despite giving an exercise-friendly vibe. I really did not like the ankle support on this shoe. I found the extra material around the ankle to be irritating and quite frankly, kind of goofy. I’m sure there are practical uses for something like this, but the extra material around the ankle alone drove me away from this shoe. I wouldn’t wear them casually in public or try to style them with any outfits I would wear out in public. Aside from the ankle material, the shoe is average. I could go either way with these. They look like hundreds of other Nike shoe designs and don’t seem to be anything special. The quality of the materials of the shoe is fine. The sole and midsole seem to be a sturdy material, however the upper part of the shoe has a weird material that I don’t commonly see on shoes. It’s kind of light and rubbery, which likely enhances the athletic performance of the athlete wearing the shoes. It looks pretty good and is lightweight. Overall, the shoes are just okay. It’s a fine shoe, but one I likely won’t wear often due to the odd ankle material. If not for this one detail, I would maybe wear them out occasionally. I wouldn’t necessarily change anything else about the shoe, it’s fine and great for some.

Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband wore these to hike around and go fishing. These shoes are snug but not tight. The back rim part of the shoes is an elastic material so it didn't hurt. These fit ture to size, if you have wide feet it's probably going to feel tight. The insoles feels nice and cushioned so it was comfortable walking around. It's suppose to be waterproof but he hasn't tested that yet. Overall these shoes will now be the go to shoes for hiking and fishing.

Run Small Typical For Nike, Really Loved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just tried my new Nike Acg Pegasus Trail Gtx. The shoe fits a bit small and I needed a little time to break them in. The cushioning provided a soft but responsive feeling, making it comfortable for walking, running, and everyday wear. The design is sleek and versatile enough to wear casually or for exercise. The cushioning gave the shoe a smooth, springy feel with each step which I really need in a running trainer. The material is high quality and durable. The mesh upper was breathable, but still strong and sturdy not too flimsy. I liked the comfort, cushioning, and versatility the most, it worked well for both running and everyday use. More color options would be a nice addition.

Excellent Multi-surface Shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of 7, I need shoes that can fit the variety of my life and where and when I can fit a run in, which means sometimes it’s all road and sometimes it’s trails. These shoes supported my low arch foot on all terrains seamlessly and were super easy to clean, keeping my feet dry in light rain and wet trails even! The sizing was true and I like that the toe box felt a bit more roomy than others I’ve tried. It doesn’t have big lugs for rougher trails, but for light trails it was great. I liked that I could switch between road and trails in the same shoe with equal support and grip and it didn’t feel heavy or cumbersome. The only thing I missed was that they aren’t as cushioned as other shoes I have, but that makes them lighter an easier to clean so it’s a trade off. Overall I like that I only need one pair of shoes that work in all the places I want to run and they barely needed any breaking in and keep my feet comfortable and dry all run long!

Amazing Waterproof Trail Runners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fit and feel of these shoes are amazing! Especially for trail runners. They’re so light but waterproof. The arch support in these are also pretty great! We bike quite a lot and also hike in these are really great shoes for both conditions. These shoes being waterproof are the best design. They do make your feet a little sweaty, but the trade-off is definitely worth it. The material on these shoes are superb! It makes them still very light and malleable, but waterproof and durable enough on Rocky terrain. My favorite thing about these shoes are the waterproof features, and the large heel straps. You can fit a carabiner through them quite easily when waiting, or storing.

Great Shoe For Everything Outdoors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Acg Pegasus Trail Gtx is a great show to have for all outdoor activities from leisurely walking your dog to a marathon in the rain. The quality of the materials is top notch. It feels very high quality and proved to be waterproof when walking in the rain. The shoe has a unique design around the ankle, it provides cushioned comfort to the back of your ankle which feels dreamy. It also has a covering around the ankle which provides support as well as protection from the elements. All this without sacrificing style. For shorties like me, I appreciated the extra inch of height it provides too. The fit is true to size and it is very lightweight making it feel as if you arent wearing anything. If I could change one thing, it would be the laces. For a shoe like this, I prefer not having to tie them. Overall it a great shoe that I wear regularly when going outside.

Lightweight Rugged

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes are very lightweight trail shoes, which is hard to find. Fit slightly small, length wise. Width is great for normal/average width feet. Excellent quality and nice looking. They are also a little tall and add some height, but in a good way
