This is the puffer vest we wish we had on our canoe camping trip to Big Bend National Park. It's designed to keep your core warm with its lightweight insulation, and has secure pockets to keep your essentials secure while you adventure. When the day warms up, you can pack it down into its own inside pocket and use the tribiner to hook it to your pack. To create this collection, the ACG team went on a canoe camping trip at Big Bend National Park in West Texas. Huge swings in temperature between day and night inspired the need for lightweight insulating layers that could be packed away when the sun starts beating down again. Rock formations in the park created by smooth, slow moving lava flows inspired the collection's name.
