This Shoe Will Beat You Up...

A shoe this heavy should dampen impact more. It's more responsive, but that is offset by the extra weight. The shoe feels hard and flat on descents. It's responsive, but tiring on flats. It is a good uphill hiker. It's like if they beefed up and weighed down the Terra Kiger. Zegama 2 users won't be happy. You'll need to transition to this shoe over time or it will beat you up on long distances. Things I do like about it: the new upper doesn't look like it will tear out like the Zegama 2. The outsole is super grippy and stable- definite improvement over the Zegama 2. Unfortunately, it's really a dead shoe where it should matter and much too heavy for what it is. They didn't get the mix of Zoom X and Cushion 3.0 right and could use some time back at the drawing board. Conceptually, this should be a winner. Execution wise it falls flat. Literally....

Not Good

Fast shoe, and better suited for technical terrain, but it feels more like a Hoka shoe now. The Zegama spirit is gone. It also damaged my heel on a rock, and the laces caused my ankle to swell. The Zegama 2 was more wobbly, but overall, it was a better shoe for long-distance running. Been using Zegamas for years since model 1.

The Tongue Could Have Been Better

Not much to complain about these shoes. They seem almost perfect. But the tongue definitely needs to be a little longer, and the tongue also needs to have a little more cushion near the top (by the collar of the shoe) so the laces don’t feel like they’re digging into the top of my foot (especially when the laces aren’t even tied very tight).

Beware Of Blisters!

Loved these shoes when I first got them; they fit and felt great right out o I f the box! As I've worn them more, the back of my heel has started getting blisters where the upper sock material and meets the shoe.

Highly Capable

Love these sm!! Super comfy, highly stable and functional on the trails here in Utah. I’ve historically gone Pegasus trail but after trying these out, there’s just no going back. I went with my usual size in Nike and they fit perfect. I would agree the tongue could be a little higher up. Other than that 10/10

Amazing Trainers, Need A Bag

Unreal trainers but should come with a bag like the alphas, if anything these need a bag more than the alphas as these are always finishing a run very dirty!

Amazingly Comfortable, But Red Color Is Lighter In Person Than It Is In The Pictures.

I ordered these in the light crimson colorway and my only complaint is that the colors on the website don't appear to match the actual pair that you receive. In person, the color is more like an "infrared" color which is almost like a ligher, almost neon red/pink. On the website they look more like a standard red. That aside, these shoes are amazingly comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have gotten in years. The toebox is very roomy and feels great even as someone with wider feet. I hope to get a second pair in the all black soon.

Poor Quality

The material on the rear sock developed a hole on right shoe after 3 to 4 runs which caused blisters and bleeding. Left shoe had the same issue this week....I do very very low miles...and this is disappointing.

Love Dirt? Get Acg!

This shoe is a banger! it cruises through gravel, up a mountain, through mud. I haven't encountered what it can't do, worth every penny

Great Trail Shoes

These are best designed trail run/walk shoes out there. Especially on decomposed granite surfaces. Nothing gets into the footbed. So comfortable!

As Comfy As They Say.

I have the Zegama 1s and really like them. The Pegasus Trail is really my go-to. I’ve read a lot of great things about this Zegama ACG being the most comfortable trail shoe from Nike so decided to pick them up. Not disappointed at all! I was so impressed with how comfortable they actually are. This is initial impression, but man, I really love how they feel. Great color as well. I know I’ll end up getting another pair.

Designed For Wide Feet; Comfortable Too

First, I was impressed with the toe box on these shoes-Wide enough to easily wiggle my toes; hint, I wear shoes of another brand that are Double EE width for officiating! Also, enjoyed the “spring” in my step when walking, comfortable. Have worn shoes five times to date, still springy with my 220lb. Frame! Finally, I am 6’-3” tall; feeling I’m almost 6’-5” tall when wearing these shoes! Love it!

Short Tongue Ruins The Shoe.

The overall fit of the shoe is great, but the short tongue digs into the ankle in a way which ruins the experience. Not for me, but can see why some people might love them.

Best Heavy Trail Shoes Nike Ever Made

Nike got its trail shoes right this time. Yes, it is heavy if your hobby is to weight shoes, or if your ultra marathon dirt doesn’t stay in your shoes. Now, to those here that live in the reality realm, this is an excellent shoes if your feet aren’t like Hobbit’s nor your stability comes from your bunions… if your feet(and you) are normal, this is indeed the best bang for the buck.
