Ultra Comfy And Supportive Running Shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Pegasus Air 2005 is a running shoe that blends comfort, support, and style. These shoes bring a classic retro vibe with their sleek design and vintage-inspired details making them both fashionable and functional. From the moment I slipped them on, I immediately noticed how they are lightweight, breathable, and perfectly cushioned. One of the my favorite things about this shoe is the ankle support. The padded collar and secure fit keep your ankles stable, making them extra comfortable and supportive. Whether you're training for a race or just out for a jog, the Pegasus Air 2005 is an incredible pick for any runner.

Solid Shoe For Daily Wearing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Pegasus 2005 is a solid daily wear shoe for running errands or going about your day. I liked the comfort once they were broken in and I found them easy to wear all day. The toe has a slight slope to it similar to a running shoe so walking is very comfortable. Looks wise they are fairly standard. I liked the black mesh all around which gives a sporty look and feel. The midsole while comfortable, was a little too thick for my taste-it almost reminded me of an orthopedic shoe. That said after wearing them all day long my feet didn’t hurt so that’s a plus. Overall if you are looking for a sneaker to wear everyday, these are a great pick. As a running shoe they are also capable. I did find when weight training that the thick midsole made it harder to balance when squatting or deadlifting so keep that in mind. Good shoe for everything else.

Good Quality, Great Stability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nike’s Air Pegasus 2005 is a nice quality shoe. The fit is very standard as they run incredibly true to size, and wear comfortably as well. The shoe offers a firm yet responsive support which helps to keep your feet stay feeling refreshed, even during extended periods of wear throughout the day. An equally important aspect I’d like to highlight is that the shoe provides exceptionally stability as well. Materials utilized in construction of the upper seem to be of high quality and appear very durable, although time will tell. Now, where this shoe loses a few points is in comparison to more modern/recent versions of Nike’s Pegasus. Compared to the Pegasus 41, when wearing this shoe I do not get anywhere near the same sense of propulsion. The way to describe it would be that the signature “bounce” found in other Pegasus versions feels absent from these, which is disappointing to me since that is what keeps me returning to the Pegasus lineup with each subsequent release. Also, I am not a huge fan of the retro styling found on this shoe, but that is based solely on my personal preference. I still think they are a good looking shoe with a high quality design, just wouldn’t consider them an all-time favorite. On its own, the Air Pegasus 2005 is a solid shoe that offers a great mix of comfort and durability, without sacrificing quality. I would recommend the Air Pegasus 2005, they are a great choice for anyone in search of a shoe with good stability and a firm cushioned support.

Basic, Comfortable Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll start by saying, these shoes are… comfortable! It feels like there is a slight drop from the heel to the toe, so each step is almost propelled forward by the cushion in the heel. I received these shoes in the mail during a blizzard here in Colorado. Errands to run, a driveway to shovel. Instead of wearing my winter boots, I wore these Nike Pegasus! The traction out in the snow was great, I didn’t ever slip or feel unstable. My feet were secure the whole time I was out shoveling in the snow and each time getting in and out of the car in a slippery parking lot. I know these aren’t technically water proof, but my socks weren’t wet at the end of the day! I’ll take these shoes over a bulky snow boot any day! The shoe looks and feels well-crafted, well-designed, and well thought out. I don’t love the overall aesthetic of the shoe, but I’m reaching the stage in my life where I’ll take functionality over looks. Overall, this is a nice, comfy, every day shoe. I took a star off for the lack of real visual appeal, but 4/5 is still really good in my book. I recommend these multi-purpose shoes for anyone who is on the go and needs a shoe that can keep up.

Nice Retro Design & Very Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely leaning on the retro design for this one - if you like that look, you’ll be a fan of these overall. Construction is great, the sole is fantastic, and overall this feels like a better built Vomero. Very comfortable. The laces lock in when pulled in and out of the first and second eyelets and the tongue itself is attached to the rest of the shoe up high so you can wear these with very loose laces and they’ll stay on well.
