[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nike’s Air Pegasus 2005 is a nice quality shoe. The fit is very standard as they run incredibly true to size, and wear comfortably as well. The shoe offers a firm yet responsive support which helps to keep your feet stay feeling refreshed, even during extended periods of wear throughout the day. An equally important aspect I’d like to highlight is that the shoe provides exceptionally stability as well. Materials utilized in construction of the upper seem to be of high quality and appear very durable, although time will tell. Now, where this shoe loses a few points is in comparison to more modern/recent versions of Nike’s Pegasus. Compared to the Pegasus 41, when wearing this shoe I do not get anywhere near the same sense of propulsion. The way to describe it would be that the signature “bounce” found in other Pegasus versions feels absent from these, which is disappointing to me since that is what keeps me returning to the Pegasus lineup with each subsequent release. Also, I am not a huge fan of the retro styling found on this shoe, but that is based solely on my personal preference. I still think they are a good looking shoe with a high quality design, just wouldn’t consider them an all-time favorite. On its own, the Air Pegasus 2005 is a solid shoe that offers a great mix of comfort and durability, without sacrificing quality. I would recommend the Air Pegasus 2005, they are a great choice for anyone in search of a shoe with good stability and a firm cushioned support.
