Rated 2 out of 5 by from Upgrade or downgrade? I have used Vapor 9 and 9.5 for both clay and hardcourt for last 7 years. Although I really liked those shoes, I always hoped there is a little bit more toe box room and cushion. When I tried the new Vapor X, I thought that it might have the improvement. But here comes the bad parts. First, the lacing is terrible; it is very difficult to pull up or loosen. Second, the little roomier toe box allows my foot to slide and my toes (all five) to hit the front, while I was playing aggressively. I hoped Vapor X works for me, but fell short.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong Footing, but Good Shoe! Having used vapors 9, which ran a little tight. I decided to order the X in wider size. There are no complains of the shoe or the quality of the product. It just hasn't turned out to be for me. It has really taken a toll on my left foot. It gets the bottom of my calf area really tender and swollen. I believe it may be because of the footing I may be getting from the shoe. I have never had any problems like this on the foot prior until I made the switch to the wider size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Upgrade from the 9.5 I went 1/2 a size larrger as my big toe bruised slightly form the 9.5. On hard courts these shoes are very fast and you can move well. On some hartu courts you can move and slide well. On an indoor hartu court that was more grainy (vs. sandy) I had lots of trouble changing direction more than one shot—lots of slipping vs. sliding. Nike needs to release a clay court bottom

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A step backward The tour 9.5s were my go to show since they came out. The best combination of mobility, support and lightweight. The only draw back was the durability. Enter the X and the durability has gone down and the toe box an an extremely odd fit. Wore two times and the sole was already showing signs of wear and the toe box was just a funky fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NikeCourt Zoom Vapor X Review These shoes are very nice. Because they are so light weight, they are very easy to move around in. They are lighter than other Nike tennis shoes, yet have enough stability to allow quick, sharp movements. They are also very sleek and look great on the court. Overall, they are a great shoe!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from They're Okay They're okay. Better than the Vapor 9.5 no. I don't have a problem with durability since I'm not rough on my outsoles. They're a little lighter than the 9.5. The nike swoosh on the bottom looks really good.
