Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Shoe But Size up 0.5 inches for WIDE FEET The sizing of the cortez is very different from other Nike models. You need to size up 0.5 inches if YOU HAVE WIDE FEET. I am 10.5 in Nike Flyknit Air Max, so I ordered a 10.5 in cortez. It literally burned my feet since my toes were jammed to the front of the shoe. I tried to break it in for 2 hours and I gave up. There was no way that I can stretch that by wearing. My toes were all red! So i had to return the size 10.5 and order the size 11. Always look at: https://www.nike.com/us/en_us/sfg/mens-shoe-sizing-chart the heel-to-toe between a size 10.5 and an 11 is only 1/8 inch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh This review is for the white pair with the black accents. Pros: stylish, semi-affordable, comfortable with loads of padding(if you go a half size up) Cons: that padding makes your feet hot and there is no perforations in the shoe to speak of so be prepared for sweat in warm weather or times when you wear them for 8 plus hours (typical workday), small and narrow with a tight toe box, not true to size definitely need to go up a half size, leather quality is subpar and it shows after just a few times worn really creased and misshapen (lumpy toe box, no longer smooth), the tongue is not leather but nylon (lame which they fail to mention) and the white they used doesn't match it has a faint blue tint [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from looks good in box - doesn't maintain well the sneaker is very comfortable - actually the first nike's i've bought and they're more comfortable than any other sneaker i've had. 5 stars. the look is stylish, minimal and clean. really great for summer. 5 stars. the way the leather bends and warps and eventually misshapes from walking really sucks. 0 stars. seriously, after about three weeks of walking use, very disappointed. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Return of an icon Excited to be back in my first pair of shoes purposefully designed for running! Actually, they're now more comfortable than as I recall from the 70s. I expect to wear these more for casual wear and leave the Metcons for cross training. Thanks Nike for rekindling the memories. How about the Waffle Trainers next? Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forrest Gump I have honestly been waiting for these to be rereleased and finally they're here! Excited to have them in my collection, so excited I a second pair. My only complaint is that they run a tad bit small, so you might want to go a half size up. Other than that great summer shoe! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Cortez Fanatic I seriously love my Cortez sneakers, I wish that there was a way to post pictures, I have photos of my first pair of Cortez in 1976 when I was 10 yrs. old, another in my 20's and in my 30's and of course 40's and now that I'm 50 I bought my latest pair and I have the pictures to prove it, they have changed little over time my pairs in the 70's the front bottom sole used to come up a little higher, but whatever little changes they had, the quality, durability, comfort and look are great. The Cortez for me is the best sneaker there is out there, if someone would offer me 3 pairs of the most expensive sneakers on the the world or 1 pair of Classic Cortez I would take the Cortez, I am being honest, I really like the way they look. I recommend them to anyone that that has any knee problems because they are light comfortable and easy on your legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first pair of shoes I actually care about Recently I have been trying to improve my life and make myself into a person I can be proud of, I'm not saying these shoes did that for me, but when I wear them out I feel like a million dollars. I originally wanted them because I was trying to care more about how I look and liked how simple they were but they still have the "I wore these for a reason" look to them. Then I learned how much history there is behind the shoes. My mom saw them and told me my dad would only ever wear Cortez, I'm originally from California but have been living in Arizona and Cortez definitely has a history from California and I feel like they are a nod to the fact that that is where I'm from as well. I am happy to have these shoes.
