It the most comfortable shoes I wear as a nurse on my feet for long hours

Disappointed

Heel has already lost its cushioning. Do not hold up!

Best Wide Foot Shoes Ever

If you have wide feet and are active. Especially a lot of cardio. These will be the best shoes you ever own. I wear a size 14 wide. Its extremely hard to find shoes that doesn’t squeeze the sides of my feet so much they’re painful and are able to provide support. These are so great I bought 3 more pair just so when they wear out, I have others on deck. Fantastic shoes.

Your Feet Will Want These!

Exactly what I was looking for, comfy walking or running sneakers. No break in needed just slip them on and get to steppin! Style screams what they’re about you and the pavement! Color is just quite or loud enough for me, matter of opinion!

Actual Shoe Colors

The colors of the actual shoe do not reflect the same exact colors of the website shoe pics.

Not Good For High Arches.

I've had the Downshifter 12 and 13. They were both good. Downshifter 14 has a gusseted tongue that makes the shoe too tight for people like me with high arches. It's too tight. Why did Nike do this? Downshifter 13 didn't have this feature and I never had a problem with the tongue. Don't fix things if they're not broke. I'm sure the shoes will be fine for those with 'normal' arches.

Extremely comfortable footwear and ideal for runs. It’s very light and also stylish at the same, I’d definitely recommend these trainers to any runner.

Stylish Slippers

The (in)consistency keeps on with the Downshifter series. Basically, they are good looking slippers and comfortable too. As with all Nike shoes, they are stylish and expected to be very durable - they wear evenly, making their lifespan very long. From the previous iteration these are more comfortable, and with an upper that really embraces the foot. Previous were too firm - like wearing a shell. They're true to size, but on the roomier side in the toebox. The weight's gone up noticeably. The structure of the midsole is too uniform, making them really non sensitive to the anatomy and biomechanics of the foot. Under the weight, the midsole expands evenly. The real disadvantage and serious drawback is the insole + midsole shape. The main support is on the outer edge of the foot, instead of supporting the arch. This really encourages foot pronation and is something that's been always bad about Downshifter.
