Very disappointed with these half tights. Drawstring broke on one side after just a few wears. Epic design fail by Nike. Poorly constructed half tight. Many other buyers have had similar complaints.

Fantastic, But……
Comfortable and fit true to size. They're sleek and look good (I love the texture of the material) while working out/running. The only negative is Swoosh logos are very delicate and can peel off quickly. For a pair of tights that are £££, that's just unacceptable. The logos are likely to crack and peel off, within 3 washes. Just embroider them Nike!

Great Potential, Horrible Execution. Durability Is Inexcusable.
I own 2 pairs of these and while the overall fit is good (not great, maybe better if I went up a size), and they do look cool. That's about where the good ends. The Nike logo peels the first wash even on delicate and with no heat, The right drawstring broke during the first use in both pairs, and the inside seam has begun to fray after only 2 uses. Absolutely ridiculous for this brand or at this price point.

Drawstring Keeps Breaking
Shorts are incredible except the drawstring had broken again on my second pair after just under a year of light use 1x per week. The string doesn't go all the way around so if you pull it tight it can just remove it from one side and there is now way to reattach it.

That Freaking Drawstring
Let me just say, I love these shorts, but read on to the end. They go on pretty tight (I'd almost say they run small, but they're just snug), but they feel great on the run. Very supportive, very smooth, and comfortable. Price is not quite low enough, but I got them at a discount, which made the cost more palatable (I've never had shorts like this, and as a bigger runner, I needed the incentive). Pocket in back is big enough to fit my iPhone 13 mini (but probably not one of the more current phones that are much bigger), which was a very pleasant surprise for listening to music on the run. I do have the issue with the logo cracking, but I don't care. If this was it, five stars. But this is not it. As others have said, the drawstring is a complete and utter fail. Mine broke within the first month, and I was being careful, having read the reviews. Here was the circumstance: I had the shorts on and tied, and needed to clip a flashing light to my waistband for a night run. The little tug to get the clip on is what broke the inner end of the drawstring free from its anchor near the back of the shorts. The source of the problem: this is not one drawstring, but two half-drawstrings, each anchored on one side of the rear pocket. How do we know this is a terrible, and avoidable design? 1) Because so many people are reporting the breakage problem. 2) In the trail shorts, which are a very similar design, there's a *continuous* drawstring that runs over the rear pocket, just like this one could. The trail shorts drawstring is anchored at the rear to prevent drawing it all the way through the shorts, but because the drawstring is one piece, you shouldn't snap it. And, there's no anchor from which it can break free, rendering it useless. Maybe a designer from Nike can read this and make a design change. So, buy with caution. I'll be over here trying to mend my broken drawstring.
