Good Shorts
I’m not much of a trail runner, but these shorts are awesome for daily runs or weight training. The only thing wrong with them I’d say is the fabric is weak at the bottom and might be prone to snagging and unraveling. I love the draw cord design and I love the zipper pockets and I love the gear loops on the shorts. If I ran trail, these shorts would be my go to running short! I’d love if there was a version of this with longer liner and stronger fabric!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the shorts, they are very comfortable and fit just right, but the inside mesh can sometimes cause some discomfort for those who never wear running shorts, so maybe removing that would be more suitable.

Nike Trail 5” Running Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely comfortable very durable high quality shorts. Running with these shorts is extremely comfortable and the quality is amazing. I would highly recommend the black/grey color as it matches with everything. The zippers on the shorts are an amazing touch for storing small accessories. Favorite touch to the shorts are the small reflective hits near the waistband.

Solid Shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly a huge fan of these shorts. They have a liner, a zipped pocket on each side as well as a pockets on the back. Ever run that I had in them was great. I feel like the waist fit perfectly but around the thigh was pretty snug (although I do have pretty large thighs. They hold up well in the wash and these were extremely comfortable when at the gym. Why nice for running and great for general workouts, these excel in the hiking and trail running category. Looking forward to wearing these a bit more!

Love The Functionality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have traditionally been a road runner, but have recently ventured off-road onto trails, and really like the functionality and feel of my new 5” trail shorts! They fit just as great as my usual “road” Nike Flex Stride shorts, but have an upgraded, more durable front paneling to protect against any stray branches you might come across when navigating tight trail runs, as well as a more flexible and breathable material across the remainder of the short. With an inner lining built in, they kept me cool and dry while on my run just like the rest of my favorite Nike 2-in-1 shorts. I also really appreciate the effort to provide increased utility support with five pockets and four elastic loops for my essentials. The loops on both sides were more than enough to carry my towel and water bottle while on the trail, the key pocket kept my keys securely in place, and the new rear pocket with horizontal zipper (as opposed to the vertical zipper on my old Flex Stride shorts) made it much easier to secure and access my phone. Thank you SO much for the new pocket, this might have been my favorite feature/upgrade, the older rear pockets with a vertical zipper are a daily struggle for me lol I might go with a slightly longer pair if the path runs through thick brush, a pair of 7” shorts might protect the thighs a bit more, but overall I’d say these shorts are a great option for keeping you comfortably on the move while in the trail!
