Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love/Hate I have two pairs and I wore the first pair everyday for almost 2 weeks, the tightness of the flyknit is uncomfortable but manageable. My biggest issue with this shoe is the fact that it pops and squeaks after a certain amount of wears. Best way to describe it is when the Zoom Air Bag pops and feels uneven. I called Nike and they said they are aware of the issue and are correcting it but it is not a defect. Once Nike fixes the pop in the react foam and add a durable rubber outsole this will be the best shoe on the market better than the Ultra Boost. The shoe is very sporty I literally cannot go anywhere without someone complementing them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's not all hype. Nike back in the running game. Was looking for a daily trainer for easy and longer efforts. Something cushioned, responsive, light weight. Rolled the dice on the Epics when they were first released, since I really like what Nike did with the Vaporfly and thought they might actually be on to something. To my surprise, they are almost everything I could ask for in an everyday running shoe. I've put 200+ miles on the them and they still feel new. That's crazy. Curious what they'd feel like if the heel-to-toe drop was less than 10mm. There's some wear where the React foam is exposed but nothing that makes me change the way I feel about them. Projecting they can prob go another 200 miles. Recommend you go up a 1/2 size if you want a little more wiggle room. I'm 5'5" 135lb and average 50+ miles/week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing LOW WEAR I bought these shoes the day they dropped over a month ago. I have put over 150 MILES on these shoes with only a little bit of wear. They are the most comfortable and well fitting shoes I have ever worn. They only way they wear is if you scuff them on the surface you run on. I only have a minor amount of wear from doing running drills on a track before I run. Other than minor scuffs there is not visible wear from over 150 miles of running on dirt, asphalt, grass, and rubber track. I would highly recommend these shoes. Just order right on the size you want so they fit the best and are most comfortable/supportive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ANNOYING CLICKING SOUND!! Husband loves these shoes and after a week or so of wearing them, they started making a clicking noise. I see another reviewer also said this. Not sure what to do as he has worn them? Will be contacting Dicks and Nike as these weren't inexpensive shoes. There is no rock or anything stuck on the bottom.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Snap Crackle and Pop - Rice Krispies or Running Shoes? I ordered a pair of these shoes after reading glowing reviews. The shoes initially fit great and were super comfortable. Unfortunately, after a few runs, I noticed that the shoes were starting to make a popping sound with every step I took. It sounds like a tiny bubble is bursting in my shoe wherever I go. It's great for letting people know I'm nearby -- not so great for doing almost anything else. Apparently a lot of others are having the same issue. I'm seeing it discussed on reddit and plenty of videos are popping up (see what I did there?) on YouTube. I'm hoping to get an exchange, but I'm not sure if that will be possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible, game changing foam I used to run in the LunarEpics which were a great soft and light shoe. The Epic React's are noticeably better. As soon as you put them on, your feet feel the plush foam, and lightweight properties immediately. Immediately after trying them on, I decided to take them for a run. The springy feel often described in the advertisements is something you notice right away. I ran through my neighborhood feeling the incredible bounce with each strike to the ground. While I must say Ultraboost's are a bit softer, they aren't as responsive as React, which I believe is a more important property to have, especially for a running shoe. Overall, very impressed!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too soon to tell - be aware of premature wear! I bought these shoes last week and have run twice in them. Yep, twice, for a total of 16 miles. I have been running in Mizuno Hitogami for about two years with much success, but they changed the design and now it isn't the shoe for me. I got these Nike Epic React shoes after a great review from Gear Patrol. Haven't run in Nikes since high school, so this was a big decision for me. So first the good news. They fit nicely. Note: I had to go up 1/2 size. The mesh is a little tight on a bunion (sorry, but you needed to know). It is a slight annoyance that I can deal with. The other good news is the wearability and comfort. They are very nice to run in, and my average mile splits have dropped about 20-30 seconds since I started running in the shoes. That's the goal, right? Now the bad news. As I said, I have run 16 miles in them, and from the first mile, there was a "clicking" in the right shoe. The left shoe was quiet, but the right just kept clicking as if something inside was creaking. So I exchanged them with no hassle at Dick's today. Yay Dick's! The other BIG negative is shown in the pics. Like I said, I have run 16 miles so far over two runs. The wear on the soles is very concerning. After paying $150 for these babies, I would expect better durability. I have attached a few pics. Clearly I am an outside heel striker, but I'm 5'9" and weigh 163. Not really heavy to cause this kind of damage. I may be returning these to Dick's to get a different shoe if the new pair doesn't fare any better. I will be running a marathon in April (Boston) and I want these shoes to be my race day pair...fingers crossed that they last through my upcoming long runs!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shoe, fit very snug maybe .5 small, Has weird popping noise but that’s only complaint! Shoes were great out of the box! Instant comfort with very little break-in time. Very breathable and astetically pleasing. Outsole is surpingly durable even though it doesn’t look that it would be. Show runs pretty snug so if you have wide feet I would say go .5 size up. I also am having a weird popping noise come from my right shoe at random times. It sounds like blowing a bubble with a piece of gum or something. That would have to be my only complaint though! I hope Nike can fix the popping problem because I hear a lot of people are having it. If they can I will say this is probably the best running shoe Nike has ever constructed.
