Don’t Buy. Get The 4’s Instead

Way worse than the Free Metcon 4’s. The 4’s had almost a gel feeling to the tongue and hugged your foot. The 5’s feel cheap and are not comfortable around the ankle area. Bring back the 4’s and I’d buy them again. No chance I buy the 6’s if they continue this design.

The Best Overall Gym Shoe Imo

True to size. Wraps your feet like a glove and extremely flexible. The midsole is surprisingly more durable than the Free Metcon 6. They are lighter and has a softer midsole compared to the Metcon 9. The best overall gym shoe imo

Not Comfortable

Not very comfortable. I walked about 1 mile today and had to change to a different pair. I may return them and get something else.

Favorite Trainers

I have only wore these 2x but they are already my favorite trainers. Very comfortable, great fit and good stability.

Go 1/2 Smaller Than Your Usual Size

Go 1/2 smaller than your usual size. I’m usually a 5.5 in other brands and 6 in Nike but had to go all the way down to a 5. After multiple online returns I got the right size. The all white color is super flattering and looks clean with my gym outfit. I’ve done heavy deadlifts and squats in them but they’re not good for running as the bottom is pretty firm and the middle of the shoe near the arch is a bit narrow. Good as a lifting shoe but don’t think I would do much cross-training/jumping etc in them.
