The Free Metcon 6 supports every grunt, growl and “got it!” We added even more forefoot flexibility to our most adaptable trainer and reinforced the heel with extra foam. That means more freedom for dynamic movements during plyos and cardio classes, plus the stable base you need for weights.


Design:

  • Upper is made of breathable, supportive engineered mesh with built-in stretch where needed during dynamic movements, like lunging, squatting and jumping
  • Flywire cables give you a dynamic fit and help keep you secure during your workout
  • Rounded the big-toe side of the forefoot for better agility during any sudden movements

In-Shoe Comfort:

  • Combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step
  • Comfortable inner sleeve increases ankle support and provides more seamless fit
  • Laser-siped foam in the forefoot and midsole offers flexibility and comfort
  • More foam was added in the heel for improved stability

Durability & Traction:

  • Laser-siped outsole for better flexibility allowing you to move more naturally
  • Multi-surface traction pattern is made for any workout surface and activity

Good, But Should’ve Been Better

Good training shoes overall, however the design from the previous model was better - These are comfortable, stylish, lightweight, the works. However, the free Metcon 5 fit more snug, was lighter and more responsive, locked your foot in better without having fly wire grab your foot from very specific angles. I also think the shape of the 5 is just better, and the 5 looked a bit lower profile, which looks better with athletic wear. I’d find a pair of 5s on sale over these. Hopefully the 7 returns to the lower profile design

Very comfortable, love these shoes. Went on a long walk and felt like my feet were on clouds.

Bought these last month and love them. Great quality

Good Looking Shoe!

This shoe is great for looks. I wear a size 10 women's and got a size 8.5 men's. This shoe felt extremely tight at first, then I wore a few times to crossfit and broke them in. They are still a little snug, but overall they're okay. If you have a wide foot, I wouldn't recommend.

Great Cross Trainer

I was looking for a cross-training shoe and came upon these in my research. The Metcon 6 have been great. I feel the support when I'm lifting and feel the protection when I'm doing HIIT or cardio. I wanted the orange & blue sneakers but it was not available in the store; however, I was able to order it at the local Dicks and received it 2 days later. The bright orange sneaks look great.
