The Free Metcon 6 supports every grunt, growl and “got it!” We added even more forefoot flexibility to our most adaptable trainer and reinforced the heel with extra foam. That means more freedom for dynamic movements during plyos and cardio classes, plus the stable base you need for weights.


Design:

  • Upper is made of breathable, supportive engineered mesh with built-in stretch where needed during dynamic movements, like lunging, squatting and jumping
  • Flywire cables give you a dynamic fit and help keep you secure during your workout
  • Rounded the big-toe side of the forefoot for better agility during any sudden movements

In-Shoe Comfort:

  • Combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning helps you feel secure with every step
  • Comfortable inner sleeve increases ankle support and provides more seamless fit
  • Laser-siped foam in the forefoot and midsole offers flexibility and comfort
  • More foam was added in the heel for improved stability

  • Laser-siped outsole for better flexibility allowing you to move more naturally

Excellent Shoes For Hiit/core Workouts

Bought these for core an HIIT workouts. They’re very comfortable and I like the cushioning. Fit is as expected. The construction is such that my foot does not move around in the shoe which I like. So far they are holding up well for me. I’ve seen some reviews that show sone splitting of the soles, but I’ve not experienced that yet.

Too Wide

Do not get if you have narrow feet. Material bunched on the sides even when I cinched the laces.

Good Fit

I have a hard time finding sneakers to fit with my wide feet, but these are great. Very comfortable as an everyday shoe. The only negative for me is the sneaker is a little high and tends to rub on my ankle bone.

Couldn’t Get The Durned Things On My Feet

Try as I might, the opening/mouth, or whatever it’s called was super tight and I couldn’t get anywhere close to getting my heel over the back. As an aside, the box was missing the lid and whomever didn’t care for them prior to returning them, wore them outside. All manner of stuff was stuck in the treads. I ordered them online, but returned them to the store, tried a few other Nikes in the same model to see if that made a difference, it didn’t, so I bought a great pair of Brooks.
