Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits like a glove I weight 150 lbs and foot is 10" long E wide, normally wear Nike size 9. For the past 5 years, I have been running 15 miles per week with three 3-mile runs and one 6-mile, all on the street. I started wearing Nike Free Run since the 3.0 version and replace them yearly. Normally make the purchase at the end of the year for $20 ~ $30 discount. In 2017, I wore the Free RN Flyknit (size 8.5) for the first time and love it. The only issue is that the sole is just about 1/4" too narrow for my wide feet to provide full support. I also had the regular Free RN (size 9), which has a bout 1/4" wider sole. Got a coupon code from Dick's for $20 off over $100+ purchase. Went to the retail store to tried out the 2018 Free RN and the Flyknit, found the Flyknit's sole is now wider than last year's version and ordered it online with the coupon code (the regular Free RN size 8.5 also fit well). Took them out for a 3-mile run and found felt very similar to the previous version. I normally land on the ball of the feet, but these tend to land on the entire feet, which is not an issue so far. The only negative thing is that these breath too good and not for cold weather (say below 45 F) running without wearing a pair of socks. The regular Free RN would be a bit warmer due to the more dense upper material. Also, when I ordered this online, I was thinking that the local store has them in stock, so they would ship it from there or at least stores close to me. That was not the case, it was shipped from east coast and took 7 days to get these. Should have just order and pick them up at the local store :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings I've been running in these shoes for about 4 months now. They're extremely comfortable, and I love them for treadmill workouts and road runs (even long ones). The Flyknit material and midsole are more durable than I expected. However, a big gripe I have with these shoes is the noise they make. Fresh out of the box I noticed a loud squeaking/rubbing sound when I walked in them, regardless of the surface. I chalked it up to them being new, but after 4 months of very regular use the sound persists. As I result I do not wear them casually in public, and probably will not purchase another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How amazing these shoes are it is insane I bought these shoes while on a baseball trip due to me losing my regular shoes. Right as I saw them in the store in the all black model I felt appealed. While training on off days in these shoes I began to really like the shoe due to its easy tight feel but also so lightweight that it feels like no shoes on at all. Once I came back from my trip I haven’t taken them off and I wear them everywhere weather it’s to walk around or to go for a run. Now I’m looking to purchase the all white. This shoe is worth every single penny no doubt still looks brand new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable running/training shoe I've only had these shoes for a few weeks now, but have had multiple short run sessions (road & treadmill) and lifting sessions. These are very comfortable shoes. I have to agree with a review i read on here about the fact they squeak while walking. i've had this issue before with new Free shoes. It hasn't bothered me enough to stop buying them, because i do like the way they feel on my feet. i'm not sure if it is the outsole material Nike is using, but this certainly isn't an isolated issue.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great fit/comfort, poor durability. I bought this shoes only about 4 months ago. I upgrade from the 2017 Free RN Flyknits, which I loved. These felt even better, until they ripped at the top most shoelace hole. The knitting material is definitely lighter on these than the 2017s, and I guess it was just too much for it to take. Never had this happen before. Just as a warning for those thinking about purchasing, or who have purchased. Careful how you lace these up. Not sure I could recommend buying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for what they’re made to do I think this shoe is good for it’s intended use. The flyknit upper is extremely comfortable. It is also very breathable. The the midsole doesn’t have very much cushion or support, but I don’t think it was designed to. The shoe is extremely light and flexible. I’ve had this shoe for over 3 months and it still looks brand new. I expect them to last for a long time. It is very comfortable despite its lack of cushioning. I could wear these all day. They make great walking shoes. I think these do well for short runs, or runs on lower impact surfaces.i don’t think they have enough cushioning for runs more than 3 miles unless you’re used to shoes like this. Overall I think these shoes are great for what they’re made to do. Short runs and walking. I would definitely recommend this to a person looking for a barefoot like feel without sacrificing comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice roomy toe box! I really wanted the regular version of the Free RN’s, but they were too narrow for my toes. It’s a struggle to find shoes that aren’t wide with room in the toe box. I took a chance with these Free RN Flyknit’s and they fit well! This is my first pair of Flyknit’s, so I’m getting used to the heel but after wearing them over the weekend, I’m definitely keeping them. I wear them as a casual shoe and will be ordering another color.
