Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great weightlifting shoe Bought this to replace some free rn flyknits that I had been using more for lifting than running. Used the stair climber first day wearing them with a bit of pain but none whatsoever when lifting. The next week I got on the treadmill with these shoes and after 5 minutes everything below the waist was in pain. The shoe does not bend besides the toe area. Otherwise the shoe looks great and holds to the foot nicely. Great not worrying about losing a shoe during leg raises like with my flyknits. Would recommend for anyone seeking a weightlifting shoe but not a great cross trainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT all around trainer I wear metcon's almost exclusively to the gym however I was looking for something with a bit more cushion. WHen these were introduced I jumped on a pair as theyu seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Much to my surprise, they don't necessarily have the same feel as the metcon IV (and previous iterations) but they are REALLY comfortable on treadmill runs (feel like a sock cloud) great lateral support for side to side movement and have taken the constant beating I put on them under heavy weights on a daily basis. This will be my new go to trainer unless durability becomes a problem in which case I'll use them as an everyday shoe as they look good as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best metcon yet I bought the nike free x metcon‘s about a month ago now. Since then they’ve been my go to shoes for workouts or casual wear. These shoes have been great so far. I have ran and lifted in these shoes and they definitely live up to their name. They provide a very comfortable running experience while still maintaining stability during my lifts. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a new well rounded training shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good quality Really loved these shoes but they just haven't held up. I've had them for less than 2 months and the tabs are ripping off from pulling them on. I use these for crossfit workouts about 3x a week and theyre great whenever there's running and lifting in a workout where i want the added stability of a more metcon style without being as heavy as my metcon 3s. A huge chunk of the bottom ripped out doing rope climbs, an issue i have never had with my traditional metcons and something I wouldn't expect from a shoe like this. Any shoe advertised for crosstraining needs to be able to stand up to rope climbs and these dont fit the bill. Oh well, the heel straps are only a few weeks away from ripping as well...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Metcon to Date I've tried almost every version of the Metcon to date but this shoe is by far the best that I've worn. I like the fit of the shoe and the comfort that it provides. The shoe feels a bit thinner at the front of the shoe than previous metcons and is also more flexible. Sole feels like it might be a bit more giving than previous metcons but I haven't really noticed any instability when squatting moderately heavy weight. I like that the price is much less than the Flyknits and depending on preference may be better. The metcon frees are also a bit wider than the Flyknits. I primarily use the shoes for CF and workout 5 days a week. So far the shoes have held up well so happy about the durability as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shoe- with Flaws I purchased these shoes about a month ago and I instantly LOVED them. They are so comfortable, great for quick metcon workouts that involve short lengths of running. They fit nicely on the feet, with a sock like feel, but also more supportive than the regular metcon because of the medial lacing system. BUT, I went to put them on this morning and the back loop that you use to pull them on SNAPPED RIGHT OFF. Now, it is just blowing in the wind and they look ridiculous. I'm so upset because I loved these shoes and was hyping them to everyone, but now I can't even wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These Shoes! I love these shoes! I bought the Black/Black pair and while I love the color, the images online aren't the most accurate (my pictures are a little off too but I think it shows the true colors a little better). These shoes also run a touch small but I think they will stretch as you wear them and sizing up might not be worth it. The fabric around the ankle offers a lot of support and because of this, when the shoes are laced up, there is little to no slipping! And the shipping time blew my mind! I live in rural Iowa and these took less than 48 hours between the time I ordered then to when I received them! All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend these shoes but we'll have to wait and see what their durability is like.
