Breathable & Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do like these shoes. They are very comfortable, lightweight, and great for wearing while running my errands around town. However, I am not planning on using these as my main running shoes. To provide some background, I am not a hardcore runner. I run 2-3 miles outside a few times a week to vary my exercise routine. My foot isn't wide, but due to some surgeries in the past, I need a wide toe box so my toes don't get cramped and start to hurt. I thought these shoes would fit the bill because the whole top of the shoe is made from this very stretchy breathable fabric that Nike calls Flyknit. However, the shoe itself is on the narrow side and doesn't come in wide. Despite the stretchy fabric, the toe box is narrow and I found my toes starting to hurt and go numb by mile 2. The Flyknit is thin and definitely keeps your foot cool but be careful running in wetter conditions like morning dew because your foot will get soaked. I like the way the overall shoe looks, it's streamlined and the colors are really pretty. Not a dealbreaker, but the thin fabric on top allows you to see the colors of your sock underneath which bothered me slightly. There is also a giant QR code on the tongue which is distracting. The sole of the shoe is a somewhat shallow waffle design which makes me question how many miles they will truly last before they get slippery. The sole is made from 25% recycled content which makes my tree-hugger heart happy and I admire Nike's attempt at making a more sustainable shoe. Overall, a very nice looking shoe and I find myself reaching for these shoes when heading out on errands but sadly not for my runs.

Cute, But Not For Workouts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Interact Run shoes have some great design elements, but have some room for improvement. I’ll go through both. The Look: These are super cute shoes! The peach and white color is gorgeous. I was worried about the mesh upper being more for aesthetic than function, but it turns out I really liked that; the mesh is breathable. I’m still a little blown away by the obvious genius of putting a QR code on the tongue, and I absolutely love that it links to an article about the shoe and Nike’s sustainability efforts. Yes to big companies focusing on recycling! The Feel: At first wear (for 3 miles on paved roads and sidewalks), I was unsure about the feel. Rather than supporting or cushioning my foot, it felt like it was just on my foot, with a flat bottom. After a mile or two that sensation eased up and I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in. I later wore them for a 4 mile treadmill interval workout and that was a bad idea. They never felt broken in, and the flat, unyielding insole bruised the bottom of my big toe. It hurt for several days after! The Fit: I ordered my usual size and the sides of my big toes and pinky toes touch the edges. Luckily, maybe because the top is mesh, my toes touching the edges doesn’t bother me while running. I haven’t tested them for downhill running, but if you were considering them for a downhill race I’d definitely size up. Conclusion: These shoes are about as pretty as a running shoe can get. I like the creativity Nike is showing by incorporating technology with the QR code and sustainability by including recycled materials. They run a smidge small, but the soft mesh upper is forgiving. The real negative to these shoes is the unsupportive, unresponsive insole and sole. They might feel okay for the occasional easy run or a trip to the mall, but I won’t be wearing them speed or distance workouts.

Cute And Functional Shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been slowly increasing my mileage and needing a shoe that supports my high arches. Most shoes that are good for high arches are not the most flattering. (I understand look is not what I should be going for in a shoe… but what can I say?!? I want to like the look!) These shoes are not only cute, but they have tolerated my running well! I generally stick to paved roads and hard dirt paths and these have been awesome. At first, I was worried about a white shoe but they wear well. Also, I have worn them a few times to drop the kids off at school or for a quick coffee run. They look great when I’m running, and are just as practical for running errands!

Great Comfortability And Fit

Just got these and they're already super comfortable, been walking around the house in them lol. They will look cute with everyday outfits and I'm excited as a college student to be walking around campus in them.

Stylish And Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon opening the box, I instantly fell in love with the style and color of the shoe. Although a bit hesitant with the white material in hopes that I am able to keep them clean. The fit is decent but not the most idea for someone with a wider foot. My foot is not quite wide enough for a wide shoe but slightly wider than a typical medium shoe. I normally buy regular sizes and noticed this shoe was snug around the middle/arch. Subsequently the heel seemed looser than what I am used to. I did have a bit of discomfort during the first few wears until I I got used to the fit and adjust the strings making the shoe snug around my foot. I loved how breathable the material is and the overall structure. This shoe is definitely sleek and stylish. The only thing I would change is the lacing. Another hole is needed to help decrease the gapping around the ankle.
