About This Item
Power your cross-training potential with the Metcon 10. It optimizes stability for your heavier lifts with an ultra-strong Hyperlift plate and levels up mobility with responsive ReactX foam. With increased energy return and a lighter weight than the Metcon 9, it helps you conquer any movement your workout demands.
A wider toe box compared to the Metcon 9 lets your toes extend outward and helps you optimize your power through your whole foot.
An ultra-strong Hyperlift plate under your heel (where you need it most) optimizes stability for heavy lifts—like squats, dead lifts and cleans—without compromising the ride.
Midsole rubber wrap is more tuned, lighter and less bulky than the Metcon 9.
The midfoot band helps secure your foot onto the footbed when you pull on the laces.
Combined with a sturdy heel cup and lace tuck, it allows you to focus on your form and not shifting or slipping.
In-Shoe Comfort
It combines with flex grooves on the outsole to give you flexible, responsive cushioning when doing high-intensity exercises like box jumps and quick sprints.
We updated the midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return.
Durability & Traction
A tough, sticky texture strategically placed on the midfoot and toe—high wear-and-tear areas—delivers game-changing grip and durability.
Tough plastic heel clip provides durability for handstand push-ups.
A new traction pattern provides a flat, sticky surface for lifting on even the sweatiest of surfaces.

Amazing Trainers With Size Discrepancy
Before anything, let me just preface this by saying I love this shoe. Great stability especially for training lifting (wouldn’t recommend it for a long run), great style, and the color is def a top fave. I’m a female size 7, and I got the Metcon 10 “Green Strike/Lime” color in men’s size 6 (which is a 7.5 in women’s). The only complaint I have is the sizing. I ordered a half a size up based on reviews since I definitely don’t have wide feet. The size 6M/7.5W fits more like a 7 and that’s without thick socks. I’m sure I can break em in for the next couple months, but for anybody else- especially with wide feet- I can imagine it’d be uncomfortable. Love most of the Metcon’s and I own quite a few, but the sizing always seems to be the issue- running anywhere from 1/2 to 1 whole size smaller. I’d say if you have wide feet? Go up a whole size. And if not? Go up 1/2 a size and be prepared to break into these guys. Wish I ordered a whole size up along with these to compare.

Great Shoe For Novice Lifter If Sized Correctly
While the shoe does run small (size up 1/2 size) and the front of the shoe is not much wider than a normal D width shoe, the toe area is a bit more spacious. Overall the shoe is lightweight and provides a lot of stability during my squats and RDLs. The shoe also has great traction and during my bench I was able to have a strong lower body push needed for heavier lifts. While the shoes lacks proper cushion for any long runs, the shoe provides a strong base for my novice/intermediate needs.

Tears And Scuffs Easy
Still comfortable like previous Metcon’s. However this generations Metcon’s are a lot less durable and tears easily. Only used it less then 10 times and they’re already starting to tear and scuffs are very noticeable. Would only use if you only plan to walk in these.

Fine, But Disappointed In £
Fine. Runners are fine, no complaints on quality. but why were they put on discounted sale within a week at 20 percent discount? disappointed in that. I have signed up to Nike and they make you jump through hoops to access you account. so why not signal that a Sale is close?

Fantastic For Lifts, Ok For Short Runs, I Have Narrow Feet
I like it, it’s very stable, and great for lifts, fantastic for stairs. It’s just ok for running, but I didn’t like it for quick footwork movement, I just have a very narrow foot (ff) and there’s too much movement in the shoe, even after I seriously lock down the laces. Off to try the Nike Structure 26.

New Metcon 10 Has Less Support Than The Previous Version.
Compare these Metcon 10's to the previous versions. These are built cheaper with no stabilization. The thick wide material on the side that gives the shoe the stability is gone on this current version. When you are squatting or doing any movement where you need the support and stabilization it's missing on this version. Look for yourselves at the previous version if you can find them. The material was stiffer and a very hard plastic, which was much better.

Tl,dr If The Toe Box Was Wider, They'd Be 5 Stars Easy.
First, the good stuff. After about 12 hours of workouts at my gym, two things have become clear about the Metcon 10. First, they're built like absolute tanks; and second, your feet are locked down once you have them on. The most stable and secure shoe I've ever worn. However, it turns out the shoes' greatest strengths are also their greatest flaw. I guess I must have a slightly wide foot, because they tend to rub my pinky toes pretty badly. The midsole actually comes up 2-3 mm along the lateral side of the toe box, which I think is part of why you feel so secure in the shoe. And, because they're made to take a beating, the part that rubs doesn't seem to want to soften up.

Metcon 10
I have previously worn Metcon 9’s, so thought I’d try these this time. Love the colour ways & the way they’re not as “clunky” when walking, but the toe box much more narrow & size wise smaller. I should have ordered half a size bigger, but went for my usual size :(

Surprised Me
I bought these for a lifting shoe at the gym and did not expect them to be as comfortable as they are. The lacing system is nice, I feel very grounded during compound lifts and movements. Would for sure recommend for gym use or casual wear honestly.

Weak Vs Prior Models Of Metcons
Dislike the 10s this versus previous models. Lacks structure. Way too soft and floppy of a shoe. Feels less support to really plant in and push on squats or deadlifts. Will likely need to switch to NOBULLs until the design changes again. Dissatisfied
