Nike Men's Metcon 10 AMP Shoes

About This Item

Power your cross-training potential with the Metcon 10. It optimizes stability for your heavier lifts with an ultra-strong Hyperlift plate and levels up mobility with responsive ReactX foam. With increased energy return and a lighter weight than the Metcon 9, it helps you conquer any movement your workout demands.

Design

  • Open-holed engineered mesh provides breathability.
  • A wider toe box compared to the Metcon 9 lets your toes extend outward and helps you optimize your power through your whole foot.
  • An ultra-strong Hyperlift plate under your heel (where you need it most) optimizes stability for heavy lifts—like squats, dead lifts and cleans—without compromising the ride.
  • Midsole rubber wrap is more tuned, lighter and less bulky than the Metcon 9.
  • The midfoot band helps secure your foot onto the footbed when you pull on the laces.
  • Combined with a sturdy heel cup and lace tuck, it allows you to focus on your form and not shifting or slipping.

  • In-Shoe Comfort

    • It combines with flex grooves on the outsole to give you flexible, responsive cushioning when doing high-intensity exercises like box jumps and quick sprints.
    • We updated the midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return.

    • Durability & Traction

      • A tough, sticky texture strategically placed on the midfoot and toe—high wear-and-tear areas—delivers game-changing grip and durability.
      • Tough plastic heel clip provides durability for handstand push-ups.
      • A new traction pattern provides a flat, sticky surface for lifting on even the sweatiest of surfaces.

Best Gym Shoes Out There!!

This is an amazing shoe. Completely blew my expectations. First off, for a weight training shoe, it’s very comfortable. There’s honestly no comparison to NoBull (my previous trainer), this shoe blows NoBull away. The base is still flat, but there’s just enough cushion/foam to make a big difference in comfort. Second, these look really cool. The colorways, texture, and overall design are great. Last thing, the toe box is really wide. So if you’re looking for an everyday wide toe box shoe or something for lifting, these definitely work! Can’t recommend them enough. Also, I sized up a half size.

These are very comfortable and I feel great looking shoes. The soles are fairly stiff which I prefer for training purposes.

I Bought 2 Pairs

Fantastic shoes! Love the fit, feel, and looks of the Macon 10.

Great For Any Workout

My favorite workout shoe by far. I now own two pairs. I use to switch between different shoes for lifting or cardio and the 10's can do both. Lighter than the 9's with the same stability. Highly recommend if you do HIIT or just need an all around shoe that functions.

This is an excellent shoe, this are my third pair of metcons, I had the second generation for almost 6 years, unfortunatelly this model runs a little bit small, so I would recommend you to order half a size bigger than your actual shoe size

5-star Gym Essential

I absolutely love my Nike Metcon 10. Super stable for heavy lifts, excellent grip, and a secure, comfortable fit. It performs perfectly for both strength training and conditioning work. Easily a 5-star training shoe for me

Great Crossfit Specific Trainer

Excellent design! I especially like the heel and lace tuck features. I would say it is better for working out in the box versus a long run workout. For a Murph I would definitely change my shoes to a more dedicated running shoe like the Pegasus. But if you’re squatting, snatching, or even doing burpees this is perfect.

Amazing Trainers With Size Discrepancy

Before anything, let me just preface this by saying I love this shoe. Great stability especially for training lifting (wouldn’t recommend it for a long run), great style, and the color is def a top fave. I’m a female size 7, and I got the Metcon 10 “Green Strike/Lime” color in men’s size 6 (which is a 7.5 in women’s). The only complaint I have is the sizing. I ordered a half a size up based on reviews since I definitely don’t have wide feet. The size 6M/7.5W fits more like a 7 and that’s without thick socks. I’m sure I can break em in for the next couple months, but for anybody else- especially with wide feet- I can imagine it’d be uncomfortable. Love most of the Metcon’s and I own quite a few, but the sizing always seems to be the issue- running anywhere from 1/2 to 1 whole size smaller. I’d say if you have wide feet? Go up a whole size. And if not? Go up 1/2 a size and be prepared to break into these guys. Wish I ordered a whole size up along with these to compare.

Pr Makers

Just like my white ones but so much cooler,,,, This make new PR's come with ease , no better way to get AMP'd up then three scoops of pre-workout and these bad boys

Great Shoe For Novice Lifter If Sized Correctly

While the shoe does run small (size up 1/2 size) and the front of the shoe is not much wider than a normal D width shoe, the toe area is a bit more spacious. Overall the shoe is lightweight and provides a lot of stability during my squats and RDLs. The shoe also has great traction and during my bench I was able to have a strong lower body push needed for heavier lifts. While the shoes lacks proper cushion for any long runs, the shoe provides a strong base for my novice/intermediate needs.

Tears And Scuffs Easy

Still comfortable like previous Metcon’s. However this generations Metcon’s are a lot less durable and tears easily. Only used it less then 10 times and they’re already starting to tear and scuffs are very noticeable. Would only use if you only plan to walk in these.

Fine, But Disappointed In £

Fine. Runners are fine, no complaints on quality. but why were they put on discounted sale within a week at 20 percent discount? disappointed in that. I have signed up to Nike and they make you jump through hoops to access you account. so why not signal that a Sale is close?

These Are The Best Training Shoe!

Absolutely LOVE these shoes! They’re used for training throughout the week. They’re comfortable and perfect on my wide feet. Great job Nike!

Fantastic For Lifts, Ok For Short Runs, I Have Narrow Feet

I like it, it’s very stable, and great for lifts, fantastic for stairs. It’s just ok for running, but I didn’t like it for quick footwork movement, I just have a very narrow foot (ff) and there’s too much movement in the shoe, even after I seriously lock down the laces. Off to try the Nike Structure 26.
