About This Item
Power your cross-training potential with the Metcon 10. It optimizes stability for your heavier lifts with an ultra-strong Hyperlift plate and levels up mobility with responsive ReactX foam. With increased energy return and a lighter weight than the Metcon 9, it helps you conquer any movement your workout demands.
Design
Midsole rubber wrap is more tuned, lighter and less bulky than the Metcon 9
Open-holed engineered mesh provides breathability
An ultra-strong Hyperlift plate under your heel (where you need it most) optimizes stability for heavy lifts—like squats, dead lifts and cleans—without compromising the ride
Tough plastic heel clip provides durability for handstand push-ups
Combined with a sturdy heel cup and lace tuck, it allows you to focus on your form and not shifting or slipping
A wider toe box compared to the Metcon 9 lets your toes extend outward and helps you optimize your power through your whole foot
The midfoot band helps secure your foot onto the footbed when you pull on the laces
In-Shoe Comfort
An updated midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return. It combines with flex grooves on the outsole to give you flexible, responsive cushioning when doing high-intensity exercises like box jumps and quick sprints
Durability & Traction
A tough, sticky texture strategically placed on the midfoot and toe—high wear-and-tear areas—delivers game-changing grip and durability
A new traction pattern provides a flat, sticky surface for lifting on even the sweatiest of surfaces

Great Weightlifting Shoes!
I read reviews that said these were no good for CrossFit because you can't run in them. Nonsense! Sure, I wouldn't run a 5k in them, but they are just fine for runs during Crossfit sessions.

Perfect For Lifting And Hybrid Training
I bought the Metcon 10 as a dedicated gym shoe so I wouldn’t burn through my running shoes, and they’ve been perfect for that. They feel really stable during lifts but still comfortable enough for hybrid-style workouts—things like carries, lunges, and short intervals. Exactly what I was looking for. The design is clean with just enough color to pop without being over the top, which I prefer. If you’re mostly lifting and doing mixed workouts, these are a great choice.

Excellent Stability And Support For Lifting, Hiit, And Everyday Training
The Nike Metcon 10 has been a great all-around training shoe. The biggest standout is the stability — it feels really solid during strength workouts, squats, lunges, and other gym sessions where you want a planted, supportive base. At the same time, it still has enough comfort and flexibility to handle circuits, HIIT, and short cardio intervals without feeling too stiff. The fit feels secure and supportive without being overly tight, and the shoe has a durable, well-built feel that holds up well to regular workouts. Traction is also excellent, which helps during fast transitions and lateral movement. If you’re looking for a versatile training shoe that performs especially well for weight training but can still handle mixed workouts, the Metcon 10 is a strong choice.

Nike Metcon Review
If you want lightweight in a weightlifting shoe this is it. As sturdy as the more weighted options, but far lighter. These are great
