Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPER Comfortable, Very Stable I bought a pair of Metcon Flyknit 3s without actually intending to buy them. I was trying on various pairs of trainers and thinking I'd probably end up purchasing another style that friends had really talked up. A pair of Flyknit 3s were sitting next nearby and so I thought "might as well try them on before I check out." I am so glad I did. They are probably the most comfortable and stable shoes I've worked with for group fitness classes. (And I own several other trainers.) You see a lot of mixed reviews for this particular shoe, and honestly, it's easy to see why. The shoe revolves around a thick, inner sock construction. If the inner sock happens to fit your foot perfectly, they're so very comfortable and stable. If the inner sock DOESN'T fit your foot perfectly, then unfortunately, no amount of tightening or loosening the laces is going to make this shoe work for you. That said, give them a try. They might be your new favorite shoe.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Runs small, no give. I've worn the Metcon 2 forever, I've wide-ish fees, great width in the toe and decent drop/stability, but it's a heavier shoe. Enter the Metcon Flyknit 3. While lighter, the feels shoe much smaller than my regular 10 in Nike (Metcons and SB); this shoe just feels snug all around, but mostly in the tow area. The top mesh has no wiggle room - I don't think ordering a 1/2 size up would do anything but make it too roomy...it's just a snug shoe, like an 1/8th to 1/4 smaller than 'your' regular size. Really wish I ordered the MC5 (but the colorways are poor and so are the custom options).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shoe you’ll ever put on! This shoe is an experience! As soon as it’s on, you’ll begin to envision PB’s and PR’s. Makes you feel like a super hero. This may be the highest quality shoe Nike has ever made. The fit of the shoe is the most perfectly stable, locked in feeling I’ve ever experienced in a shoe. You can see and feel the durability, like the shoe is indestructible. Yet, somehow there also remains the feeling of being a light, athletic, fast shoe. I want a pair in every color. Stock up on this one before it is discontinued!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly sturdy shoe Nike has really hit the right balance between the need of sturdy soles for weightlifting, but the needed flexibility for more aerobic conditioning exercises. They seem to be built like a rock with a lot of attention paid to the small details that help crossfitters across a wide variety of activities. I'm very excited for this purchase. I took the advice of others and bought a .5 size up from what I would normally wear and that was a good decision. These shoes are very snug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Try them on before buying The shoe fits me perfectly and has incredible support. I had the regular metcon 3’s prior but this flyknit is noticeably better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shoe feels great, runs small for sure. This is mostly just a heads up, order a half size larger than usual. My toes were rubbing up against the end and it was very tight on my foot. I usually roll with an 11.5, but I am returning for a 12. Aside from the squish factor, they felt very supportive and like I could definitely do all my big lifts in them. I got the idea that these would be fine for all crossfit and gym training. Sprints would probably be fine, but long distance anything would be a no go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liking Them So Far Comfortable. I like how they’re a bit wider in the toe box. Small amount of heel slippage, but no severe that I can’t squat or deadlift in them. They’re snug, so had to go up a half size. Def not made for running any type of distance. Prob not even the 1/4 mile mark my feet were hurting. Decent for walking though. Picked up the grey ones and they look good with pretty much anything I wear with them (jeans, joggers, khaki shorts, training shorts, whatever).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shoe but... I figured out most people's gripes regarding this shoe. The general fit and style is terrific but the Metcon insole is 4 times thicker than other Nike insoles. Therefore most people feel that this shoe is very tight around the top of the foot (including myself) since the giant insole is pushing your feet up. A simple swap of insoles may solve the tightness issue but your regular Nike insole may be too thin, thereby rendering the shoe now too loose.
