The Vaporfly 4 is a lean, mean, mile-eating machine. Nike® trimmed weight in the midsole, outsole and upper from the Vaporfly 3 without sacrificing performance. The result is a lighter, more propulsive all-around racing shoe that’s trusted from the mile to the marathon.

What’s New:

  • A higher angle of the plate and lower heel-to-toe drop compared to the Vaporfly 3 give you an improved propulsive feel
  • Upgraded Nike® ZoomX foam provides even more energy return than before thanks to a slight midsole reduction, giving you a bouncy, feathery feel
  • Nike® reduced the weight of the outsole by using a thinner rubber compared to the Vaporfly 3, eliminating unnecessary thickness

  • Engineered mesh offers improved comfort and a disappearing feel on your foot, reducing the weight of the shoe while supplying a more consistent fit
  • The handwritten number on the midsole salutes the wear-testers who put these shoes through our rigorous test process to give you the best performance possible

Love The Shoes, Great Look, Very Comfy

Shoes are very comfy and I love the look! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good running or walking shoe. Laces have a little bit of grit that seems to keep my laces tied throughout workouts or running - never had an issue with the thinner laces coming untied like I have had with others in the past. I bought these when they went on sale and it was an absolute no brainer.

So Light You Forget They Are On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weight of this shoe is the first thing that threw me off as soon as I picked it up. I have tried dozens of different running shoes and when I picked this shoe up I was amazed at how light they are. Wearing them you forget they are even on… until your feet hit the ground. Thats when you really notice the insanely comfortable midsole and once your feet start moving, the midsole perfectly paired with the Flyplate has you feeling like you are walking on air. I have slightly wider than normal feet and often times struggle to find the right shoe for distance running. This shoe was checking off all the boxes for me every single time i wore them. I noticed more comfort on every strike of my foot down; I felt less sore in my feet by the end of the run. The material didn’t feel weird wrapped around my foot and I didn’t have any swelling on the back of my heels. This really might be the perfect running shoe from me. Have currently tested them on 2 5k’s and a half marathon and they feel absolutely amazing. Looking forward to attempting my first marathon in these in the spring.

Vaporfly 4 Running Shoe

Really light shoe, very responsive. For my first run of 14 km, I experienced no discomfort at all. I was truly impressed by the comfort. Next, I’ll test whether this shoe can last for a 1000 km run ;-)

The Bounciest, Lightest Shoe I've Ever Experienced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The feeling I get from these shoes is wild. The level of energy return and bounce is completely unprecedented; it almost feels like cheating! What blows my mind is how they achieved this while keeping the weight so minimal. When I pulled them out of the box I was genuinely surprised by how light they are. On top of the performance, they draw a ton of compliments when I wear them out casually.
