Neigh! Return Of The Workhorse.

The Pegasus 42 is the first version I’ve run in since the 39 and it feels like a real return to form. It’s a proper workhorse, not a super shoe, that expects you to put the effort in, but once you find the rhythm it gets you clip-clopping along like a happy little thoroughbred. Smooth, steady, and weirdly addictive!

Nike Pegasus Runners

Bought for my son for the gym and training this spring. They shipped super fast. Fit was great. My son loves them. Expect them to hold up for a while as they are not daily shoes for him.

The Outsole Wears Away In Just A Few Weeks....

This is one of a couple of brands that my son wears for running and long distance walking, and unfortunately the outsole is just not made for 100+ miles a week. They are comfortable but unfortunately not durable for heavy use. I would only buy again at an outlet at a discounted price....

Great Trainers

Great shoes. Used for high school track (800 and 1,600 training) Typically wears Brooks but he is really loving these. Light weight and fast. Good cushioning, not as much as the Brooks but they are much lighter and faster as a trade off. Normally struggles with the narrow toe box with Nike, but these are great so far.

Love these! Personally for me, it’s way better than the vomero plus! Not as heavy as the vomeros and fits right perfectly! Ive always liked pegasus better than vomero. If you liked pegasus 41, these 42s are way better! Good upgrade! Perfect for regular runs and daily walks!

Ugh… Sloppy Forefoot Fit!!

I really want to love them… but the “larger toe box” fallacy means a looser and sloppier fit for the forefoot. Sooo disappointed as these are otherwise great shoes. They didn’t need a “larger toe box.”

I have for years worn Nike Vamero’s and Pegasus & the new 42 is just as great.
