Great Shoes

I bought this on clearance and it was a great price for a comfortable shoes

Overall Disappointing For Serious Runners

Nike Pegasus Plus. I purchased this shoe September 30, 2025 and I put around 36 miles on it all in the fall of 2025 on 5 different runs. Overall I was disappointed with this shoe back then, and yesterday I pulled it out and ran an additional 6 mile run in it, and that confirmed once again my disappointment, A few things i've noticed on the 42 miles I've put on this shoe. Likes: 1. Its a good looking shoe. 2. When walking around in this shoe it has a nice comfortable bounce to it. 3. I can easily midfoot strike in this shoe which is my natural running foot strike. Dislikes: 1. The width of the forefoot runs narrow and comes to a point at the front of this shoe. Nike needs to offer a wide version in this shoe. The length seems to be fine. 2. There is not enough cushioning in this shoe where the midfoot meets the forefoot, my foot feels like its running directly on the concrete every run, and this shoe seems to bottom out with every footstrike on the concrete. With only 25mm of cushioning stack in the forefoot, Nike needs to add at least an extra 5 mm of foam to the forefoot of this pegasus plus, if they make a version two. 3. The shoe lacks any kind of pop at toe off. I'm 5'9 and I weigh175 pounds, and this shoe had no pop at toe off, it felt dead at toe off. Perhaps I weigh too much for this shoe, but with the full zoom air midsole, I expected much more bounce and pop at toe off and there just isn't any in this shoe. 4. For a speed trainer, this shoe is a bit heavy. This Nike Pegasus plus is directly competing with the Dynafish Xiaonian, the Adidas Evo SL, The Anta c202 zone2, the Saucony Azura, the Skechers Aero Razor (which has a carbon infused plate) and is the fastest shoe in this group, the New Balance Rebel V5, the Lining Red Hare pro9, the Asics Tri-Noosa 16, the Puma Deviate Pure Nitro & Puma Nitro Velocity 4, the Xtep 2000km Pro, and the Brooks Hyperion 3. Out of all these shoes, the Nike pegasus plus and Brooks hyperion 3 are easily the slowest, and overall least effective speed trainers in this category. I hope Nike really improves this shoe if they release a version two. Please do better Nike

Slightly Disappointing :(

I love the pegasus line but this shoe gives me terrible blisters right on the ball of my foot and midfoot. Anytime I try to run past 3 miles the shoe just starts eating at my skin. I tried different insoles, tying laces tighter, and even removing the extra fabric inside the shoe that I thought was rubbing against my foot. Still love the responsiveness and the rest of the shoe, but if you have a slightly wider foot or flat feet like me, I would suggest another shoe.

Dicks Ruined This Order

Shoes seem ok, but theyre used, in a ratty nike box, no tags, no shoe savers, and bottkm of shoe looks dirty. GREAT JOB DICKS

Great All Around Shoe

Great for speedwork and daily runs. Use it for the gym as well.

Worst Nike Shoe

Worst running shoe I’ve gotten from Nike, I love my Pegasus 41s, infact I’ve gotten 2 pairs, but these are so much worse. I also have a pair of vomero 18s which I’d recommend over these any day

Nike Pegasus Plus. The Best Pegasus Since 37

Comfortable, light weight, responsive yet cushioned. Great shoe with great colorways and it doesn’t have that horrible bulky tongue that Nike seems to have fallen in love with recently

Best Rus Ive Had In 20 Years

This solidifies that i will never buy a pair of brooks again I was running in the Hyperion max2. Switched to these. Softest most comfortable run Ive ever had. No more pain in my feet and legs an because of this it took a solid 2 minutes per mile off my average time and close yo 3 minutes off of my tempo zone

Great Shoe; Some Long Term Issues.

I bought these for my 13 year old son to wear at school. He has had them since the start of the academic year (September 2025) and he has used them for: Road running, cycling, walking, x-country, hockey and much more but after just 6 months they began to fall apart. The paint around the foam on the bottom peeled off and in multiple occasions the sole has come off the foam and has had to be re-stuck. He highly praises the comfort and feel of the shoes. To Nike I recommend you improve the manafacuring quality but the shoe itself works perfectly.

Everyday Comfort From Nike

Great price on a premium product. The Pegasus Plus is great for an everyday shoe to wear. Very comfortable and stylish. The Pegasus line is predictable comfort.
