Squeaks & Sausages (Not An English Breakfast)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these online 4/2, arrived 4/3, returning this afternoon 4/4, unfortunately. I had such high expectations on these shoes. It was the first time I’ve spent more than $90 for running shoes (52 yr old). I noticed many reviews mention the annoying squeak each step. I was skeptical. But guess what? Yes, right out of the box…squeak-squeak each step. And thats not even the worst part. Imagine a sausage under your foot. Not a hot dog. A sausage. My ankles slightly roll because of the air cushion in the sole. If there were two cushions side by side, or if it were wider, these would be my all time favorite. I’d also be able to justify exceeding my normal spending limit. On the flip side, I wore these to work shortly after they arrived. I work a 12 hr night shift, with a 2 hr lunch break, and gym at work. On the treadmill last night I had to increase my speed by .5 to feel at my normal pace, and my core took a couple mins longer to temp up (yes, I’m that in tune). These shoes truly increased my performance. I just can’t get over the sausages. Not even if they were $49.99, w/$20 off coupon, and came with 1 warm butter tortilla tucked inside each shoe. 6’1”, 205 lbs, size 10

Exceptional Comfort..

I was looking for a shoe that would work well with the treadmill and equally as well outside. This Nike Pegasus Premium gave me that and so much more. Product arrived on time, was well presented and the color scheme was off the charts! If you are looking for one shoe to handle multiple surfaces, start with the Nike Pegasus Premium!

Excellent Design And Performance

As an avid runner with many miles and trials of running shoes, these are the most comfortable and finely crafted pair trainers that I've put on my feet. The performance of these is not to be unspoken for. I've already put about 100 miles on these and they continue to offer a responsive bounce and comfort that makes my love for running all that more enjoyable.

Close To Great But Big Dealbreaker

Love the look. Pretty comfortable. But the squeaking when walking (mentioned many times in this review section) is a dealbreaker for me. Especially considering the price.

Great For All Day On Your Feet!

Outrageously comfortable for all day wear. Cushioned without losing ground feel, and very kind to the knees and back. Wish the toe box was slightly larger, but not uncomfortable.
