Pegasus Gore-tex Running Shoes

I bought these shoes about 6 weeks ago and they are exactly what I was looking for.

Excellent

Surprisingly really good sneakers. Great for road to trail and keep your feet dry.

Heel Retention Is Terrible

I was looking for an integrated gaiter, and this seems to have ruined the shoe. I've had Nikes with integrated gaiters before (Wildhorse 6), but the implementation in the Pegasus Trail 5 catastrophically compromised the heel. The heel cup is loose, and there's a lot of slop, especially when the shoes are new and stiff; it gets better with use, but not a lot. This is a lifestyle shoe for walking the dog; worthless for running or hiking.

Nubs

Most comfortable run on the planet for a trail run however the traction nubs wear out very fast. Would be great if Nike could make the sole of the shoe more durable.

Horrible Heel Slippage

Nice looking comfortable shoes but one crucial design flaw makes them unusable: horrible heel slippage. I own tons of nike shoes (including previous gtx trails), never had this problem before, really hope they'll fix it next year
