The Best Sneakers!

This is my second pair and they are hands down the most comfortable sneakers I have ever purchased. They are well made, and the Gore Tex outer lining keeps your feet dry. Would highly recommend these. Fit true to size.

Still Okay, But Fix The Padding Please And Get Back To Wider Fit!

I love the looks and the mid foot support of this shoe. It holds the foot leaving good room in the toe box. I'm a woman buying men's sizes for my wide feet and love the fit. I wear women's 8 and get men's 7. I use them for trail running and hiking. The white ones are ok for a night out without sacrificing on comfort. Why the lower stars: 1) Nike Pegasus Trail 5 is narrower than Nike Pegasus Trail 4. My foot still fits, but not sure how it will feel overtime. Have not tested for long enough periods. 2) The padding on the heel is uneven between the shoes! And each pair is different in where the padding is. This makes socks be pulled down on one of the shoes or a foot to be pushed forward causing a bad fit. The issue is still there over the years. How come Nike is having this basic quality issue? The problem improves as the padding wears off, but I still cannot wear low socks with these. Using higher socks to have them stay in place. 3) The waterproofness does away. Especially where the shoe bends. I reapply water repellent, but it only partially fixes the issue 4) The sole wears off after ~250miles making them slippery for trail running or hiking. The rest of the shoe is fine (except for water proofing) so having a better sole would prolong the life of this expensive shoe and make it a better value.

Performance Oriented With Better Than Expected Lateral Stability

If you are looking for a cushioned performance oriented shoe- this is the one. Snug fit around the upper part of the foot gives better lateral stability than I expected. Definitely more of a sport shoe than a casual shoe from the fit. I’d say it’s pretty true to size, but maybe a half size too small if you have a wide foot.
