Daily Trainer For Any Surface And Any Distance.

This shoe's durability makes it a great daily trainer, especially if you like to mix in some trails here and there and don't wanna lose traction. It's also light and squishy enough to wear on long runs making this an amazing all around shoe. I have a pair that's got +300 miles on it and took me through marathon training plan with +90% of the volume and they're still kicking (2:47 marathon, 185 lbs). Here to buy a second pair.

I bought the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 Men’s Trail-Running Shoes for my recent trip to Thailand, and honestly, they were one of the best purchases I made for the journey. Poor Design, Bring Back The Pegasus Trail 2

5 runs and about 40 miles in on these and the sole completely ripped off mid run. At first I thought it was a manufacturing flaw but I noticed my other pair is doing it too. I think it’s a design flaw. The outer tread layer on the bottom of the shoe does not wrap up onto the toe box allowing it to catch and slowly tear off. Nike your design team is doing too much, go back to the Pegasus trail 2 design…those lasted me 600 miles of hard trail running and still had some life left in me. These last 40 miles if that. Beyond disappointed.
