Stylish and attractive shoe. (Black/White/Gold pair) Comfortable for walking or if you have a job where you are on your feet long hours. Just average for running. I didn't get shin splints, but I also didn't feel any extra bounce, cushion, lightness, or anything that would make me want to keep running. They were just another average shoe in that aspect. Now for the WORST part about this shoe. The constant never-ending Squeak that comes from the ball of your foot! It drove me insane. To the point that I gave up on the shoe's. I kid you not, it sounds like you are always walking with wet shoes on a gym floor. Imagine working all day with these shoes on and taking 10k steps, every one of them being wet shoes on the floor. My co-workers literally asked me to change my shoes. The crazy part is that it didn't start until after you wore them for a little while and the insole warmed up. I tried everything to stop it. Adding inserts, adding powder, putting powder in between the insert/insoles. changing the insoles. lacing tighter, wearing thicker/thinner socks. Nothing worked. It only happens in the ball of the foot where the foot bends and the crease is. So if you can wear these like you would wear AF1's or J's and avoid creasing them, good luck.
