Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tongue Issue Overall, a good shoe. I typically wear a size 16, but these were only available up to a 15. It was maybe a bit too tight for me, but after a few uses I broke them in a bit and got them to the point it was bearable. Lightweight and sturdy heel and toe box. It did take me a while to get used to the heel angle and sole, but once I adjusted my lifts were great. I started using these around late Feb- early March and put them on maybe 1-3 times a week for lifting, but yesterday the tongue completely ripped as I was putting them on. Tried making due with it today, but it was difficult to compensate and get the fit right. I will be going to Nike Store after work today to see if they can repair or replace.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Fit The Romaleo's run larger than other Nike shoes I've worn. I've worn a 13 in all my other Nike shoes but the 13 felt too roomy. My feet were shifting within my shoe during my squat workouts. They also have a very high arch which doesn't suit my foot best. I wore the shoes for 6 workouts but have decided to return them because of the poor fit. I love how they look but was disappointed in the performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised Sturdy and reliable. This shoes has definitely stabilize my squat foundation. I feel these shoes are must for anyone doing Olympic lifts and squatting causally or competitively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these These were a game changer for me. They provide great stability and support. They are true to size. If you are thinking about getting them, stop thinking and get them. Great shoe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from romaleos 2 was better the rubber outsole is paper thin. the toe box has less height than the romaleos 2 making it feel very cramped - this isn't a rock climbing shoe. they clearly made an effort to decrease the weight of the shoe, but weight doesn't matter in a weightlifting shoe - they don't have to be lifted in the snatch or clean and jerk, just slide horizontally. durability and comfort matters more. i returned mine and bought another pair of romaleos 2 on sale [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bummer I bought these two months ago and the tongue already ripped. I am extremely disappointed with the shoes. I've read other reviews about the tongue ripping or the sole of the shoe tearing off. I did not expect it to happen to me but unfortunately it did. The Romaleos 2 have been out for approximately 6 years now and those shoes are still holding upstrong. I expected the build of the 3's to be the same if not better. Curious as to what my options are. Bring back the Romaleos 2!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit, Solid Base, A must for any serious lifter Whoever gave these a 1 star review is clueless. These shoes are amazing. I still think the Gen 2 Romaleos were the best to date but these are close behind. I use these shoes primarily for squat days but they are a great overall gym shoe for other competitive lifts.
