Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glued to the ground. Amazing! These are my first pair of Oly shoes and have been waiting for them to release for a couple weeks. Ordered them the day them came out. After squatting in them in a couple sessions, they feel amazing, keep me glued to the ground, especially in the heel. Only concern is that although i don't have a wide foot, family average width if anything, I feel a slight discomfort on the side of the arch of my feet. Not sure if its due to the strap, the hard tpu plastic sole or the way its just built inside. OVERALL, its performance exceeds my expectations, it looks clean, not too bulky, very flexible toe cap, strap does a great job in tightening.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lace them thru the last eyelets I was using these for a few weeks and I always felt that my right heel and ankles werent locked down for some reason. It felt slightly unstable and would move during squats. I was ready to give up on these until I noticed that there was an extra set of unused eyelets all the way in the back. The factory lace doesnt come laced through the last eyelets so you Might forget about them. I laced them thru the last eyelets and wow, they feel like a different pair of lifters. My foot is firmly planted now when I squat with no ankle movement. So if youre experiencing any sort of instability, try lacing them thru the last eyelets! Im loving these lifters now. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stetch over time I have been using these for about 2 months now. I liked them at first. However, after using them for awhile they have stretched out and are now too big. My feet move around and they do affect my lifts. I have to tie them really tight and at that point, my feet start to go numb. I find myself constantly tying and untying them between sets. Also, I can feel a clicking sound now in the left shoe when walking around that is very annoying. Regardless, I will need to buy another pair of shoes, whether they are Nike or not, I haven't decided yet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing. You know when your parents say "I'm not mad. I'm disappointed." That is exactly how I feel. I have been such a loyal Nike customer for years. I bought these with high hopes. I received my first pair and they tore on the first squat session. So I processed an exchange. I just received the second pair of Romaleos. I haven't even worn them yet and there are air pockets in the glue that are making the heel peel up. I mean I would love to make an exchange, but at this point is a third really a charm, or is it just another pain in the butt?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth it. Nike, bring back the 2s! Ive bought and trained in Nike products for years. Even as a child, I asked my parents for Nike over all other athletic brands. I owned the Nike Romaleos 2 and never had an issue with them, not one. I decided to give the 3s a chance and I certainly regret the decision. After just two squat sessions, the right side of my right shoe ripped open. There are air pockets on the outsoles and they dont even feel like they sit completely flat, almost as if the shoe is warped. I am very disappointed with Nike at the moment. Nowadays, they seem to choose aesthetics over quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weightlifting shoe I got the 3s in my normal size of 9. I am always a 9 and the tire fit said I was a 9. I put them in and the are now way narrower than the 2s. I could not even strap the Velcro. was hoping they would stretch out after they were broken in. Less then a week later they didnt stretch out and then the heal started to peel. The new shoes are way lighter but I feel like they sacrificed some quality to make them lighter. The new rubber is about 1/2 the thickness of the 2s. So I returned them and decided to get a 9.5. Once I tried them in they were way to big. The 9 is to small and the 9.5 is to big. I was sliding around in my shoes and missing lifts because of it. I feel the 2s are such a amazing shoe and they changed to many things for the 3s. I ended up returning 9.5 and just went back to the 2s. The definetly looked super sweet but weightlifting is all about performance then style. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Look...but soft compared to the Romo 2's I have been waiting impatiently for the release of the Romoloe 3's and was very excited to get them. They are lighter than the 2's but also much more flexible in the toe area. I felt as though I wasn't as locked in as with the 2's. They feel a little bit like a cross between the Romoleo 2's and a metcon shoe. They are comfortable but just not what I expected for rigidity. If you've never had a lifter before and are making the move to them you'll love them. If you already have a pair of worn out 2's you won't.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lifting Shoe, Expect 6 Mos. I am a competitive lifter that trains six days a week and competes about 7 times a year. These shoes are worn and were helped to develop by my coach. They are a great shoe and I was particularly surprised by the feel they give me for the platform and by their stable feeling in the squat. I have worn reeboks, addidas, and the romaleo 2s. These are the best of the shoes I've worn. That being said they last six months. I only wear them in the gym and only for weightlifting but I feel I must be very careful with them. The tongue ripped, and the heel on one of the them is peeling up. It's time for a new pair and I bought them in February (It's now June). Durability is one of my very few complaints about the shoe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
