A Great Light Windbreaker

Excellent build quality for such a light jacket. I’ve worn this so many times this winter. Handles misty mornings well, but not rain. A great windbreaker with a long sleeve shirt or long sleeve mid-layer. Kept me warm during a 29 degree morning long run with a long sleeve midlayer. And plenty warm with a short sleeve underneath in the low 40’s. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Running Jacket

Well ventilated. Just finished 5 miles in 50 degree/ rainy weather.

Thin As Wind

You can get air with the way the jacket is made in the back. I love how it snaps in the front where you do not have to zip the jacket up. I would wear this jacket on run day or just casual wear. It fits true to size.

Jacket For All Season

Okay But Not Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Repel UV running jacket is very thin jacket with open areas allow for ventilation. It comes with a hoodie that allow you to tighten it on the back and has zipper pockets to make sure nothing falls out. That being said, it’s good summer running jacket but it’s very flimsy. The main zipper is small and on my first attempt to zip up the jacket, I totally missed. It’s okay but not good. It does provide some cover so it’s good to have it on for just running during warmer weather but that is all.

Men’s Running Jacket

It’s lite enough for warmer weather but layered with a long sleeve and it keeps you warm without sweating. The material is great inside and out without having the noise of a true “windbreaker” jacket. The fit is great as well- definitely true to size. If you would want more of an oversized fit, I would recommend sizing up. Whether you want something easy for cool nights, a quick grab for your early morning runs or even a nice added piece for your weekend errands, this jacket really serves as a multi-purpose wear. I would highly recommend this one. Can’t wait to get another one in a different color.

Sleek And Breathable

Not only does it have a stylish and sporty look, the utility it provides will not go unnoticed. It is a very lightweight jacket that comes with some certified UV protection for the sunny days. You can tell this is jacket is made for running as it has slits across the back and some across the chest which allows for tremendous air flow as you run. It also features some toggles to tighten in case you’re dealing with wind or rain. Although the material feels as if it could be water resistant, I would only trust it with a light rain, especially because of the air slits. This jacket runs true to size and would be a great addition for any runner that enjoys their entire top covered during their runs.

Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a woman and I do occasionally wear items by Nike in the men’s section. This jacket is very lightweight and definitely does what it says. During the Texas storms of heavy rains I wore this jacket outside and it definitely repels water and kept me dry. This jacket is lightweight enough to wear during early morning workouts when the weather is cool. Material is thin but I feel it should hold up.

My Favorite Lightweight Running Jacket!

The hood is extra big and adjustable, the sleeves are long, and it provides a perfect amount of coverage from all of the elements. Overall a great fit! One thing I have trouble with other running jackets is it keeps too much moisture trapped in, but this material is perfectly breathable. Very thoughtful design that any distance runner with appreciate and love.

A Pleasant Surprise!

The light, breathable material makes it useful for a variety of temperatures, as well as varying distance running workouts. It’s comfortable, true to size, and definitely suitable for everyday use. The pockets are roomy and deep and can fit keys as well as a phone easily. I really appreciate the reflective logo on the front chest area of the jacket, and the additional small reflective details on the arms and back. Although I like the subtlety of them, I do think they could be larger for safety purposes. Something is better than nothing, though, so if you are running in an area where there are vehicles, that’ll help catch their eye. My favorite detail on the jacket is the hood because the tightness is customizable. My main gripe with most running-related hooded items is that the hood always falls down and is a nuisance. The tightening function on this hood makes the experience of running in the rain much more tolerable because you can trust that the hood will stay in place. Running is hard enough… the last thing I want to worry about is my hood. Kudos to Nike on that. Highly recommend!

Nike Stride Men's Repel Uv Running Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very surprised at how lightweight this running jacket is. It is a huge plus when used what it is intended for, to wear while running or working out. It does not weigh you down nor restrict you. It feels great when on. You don't even notice you have an extra layer on. It does not provide any warmth obviously as that is not what it was made for. So if you plan on wearing it during the colder months, it will definitely need to be layered. In which case, I recommend sizing up to allow for there to be more room for a thicker layer underneath. Otherwise, it is somewhat true to size; a little bit on the smaller side but nothing extreme. My favorite feature are the vents on the front and back of the jacket, allowing for great ventilation. The jacket being able to be packed away into the pocket is also extremely convenient. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good quality jacket to wear on runs, walks, or workouts.
