Promising shoe. Nice clean design. Fit in forefoot was too loose, when I walked the material would pop up and down loudly during toe flexing as I stepped. Could use thicker insole for cushion.

The Sb Version Is The Superior Build Of The Tennis Classic

The sneaker is what it is. I love the idea of an affordable, simple sneaker billed as a leather construction, but after the first wear it was abundantly clear that this is a synthetic leather through and through. (There was also a sticker inside confirming the synthetic, removing all doubt.) It's bothersome to me that Nike uses carefully worded descriptions in the shoe details to obfuscate the type of materials used for the shoe, and you have to get a feel, often through trial and error, for how to translate the marketing into real world facts. Just tell us it's not real leather so we can decide with eyes wide open. There's nothing wrong with the shoe...comfortable and attractive for what it is. But the synthetic leather bends and creases in unnatural spots, and no matter how often Nike describes a shoe as "leather that breaks in for a vintage look," that dog just don't hunt. This is a shoe that you will wear for a couple seasons and throw out. Stick to the SB versions of the tennis classics - they tend to use a real leather and will give you a well-worn look that you're hoping for. Or don't. Buy what you like, it's your money.

Look great, but wouldn’t exactly call them sneakers. Every step I take in them you can hear in the next room. So noisy!

I wear Nike shoes for 30 years and since I do a lot of sport I buy many shoes each year for running and other sports activities. I bought this pair online since I liked their appearance. It arrived and I tried them on and they are not comfortable to me. I would like to return them
